basic app2sd? already built-in if you using froyo. setting > application >"pick any application" > move to sd

For anyone who face internal memory problem, here is my steps after i do countless tried and error. (for froyo from madteam only)

-use partition wizard to create another partition on your sd card. i am using 16GB sd card. mine 1st partition is 14.1gb and 2nd is 500mb. the rest is linux swap.
-Format 1st partition as FAT32 and 2nd partition as Ext2 OR Ext 4.
*REMEMBER TO SET THE 1ST AND 2ND PARTITION TO PRIMARY AND 2ND PARTITION CANNOT MORE THAN 500MB!!!
-install link2sd and select Ext 2 OR Ext4 depend on what you have formatted for your 2nd partition on your sd card.
-run link2sd and select any applications that you wan to link with sd card then clink on "create link".

You need to root your phone before you proceed the steps above.

I also have tried on using app2sd pro to move my apps to sd card. It works too. So for my G5 i can use either app2sd pro and link2sd to move my apps and games to sd card.

Currently I have 198 apps and games and still have 52.4mb free for internal memory.

haha... next thing is, u gonna be surprised how fast stock enclair will drain your battery. so cepat2 flash guna motafoca firmware. will dramatically improve ur battery life.

I'm using MAD Team 2.0.9Final (if not mistaken) with onlt 2GB SD Card. I've been using this from the day motafoca released it. I've been using moveSD untill few days ago my phone buat hal. Cannot install from market and even from my SD card. (Unknown reason -18 and failure to parse application). So I reflashed again, wanting to used MAD's Apps2SD.

I've downloaded Partition Wizard Home edition 5.2.

Question.

1. How is it you can partition EXT4 using Partition Wizard? Mine can only partition EXT2 and EXT3 je.

2. I've rooted my phone then used motafoca Apps2SD to partition my SD. The phone reboot into recovery. Then what?
a. Reboot system now <----I chose this option
b. apply sdcard:update.zip <--- what's this??
c. wipe data factory reset
d. wipe cache

When the phone reboot, it says Blank SD - Blank SD card or has unsupported filesystem. What do I do now?

3. If this method is troublesome, can u guys suggest a better way? Link2sd? Anything...

I think i have made a mistake here, partition tools only can partition EXT2 and EXT3. Sorry.
I think your phone cant detect sd card is because u din set your 1st and 2nd partition to PRIMARY. Try set both partition to primary.

I din use motafoca Apps2SD, i am using link2sd.

The problem is our processor which is only 600mhz. At least an A8 processor of 800mhz is required. Thats why even the Samsung Galaxy Ace does not have flash. Because we are on ARM V6.
