I5500/I5503 = both same spec. just name differ / both capacitive touch screen
I5508 = not capacitive touch screen / resistive i think.

just that.

I5500 = for Europe (known as Galaxy Europa)

I5503 = for Malaysia (known as Galaxy 5)

I5508 = for China

i download motafoca 2.0.9 full
i extract base file 1500 i got 3 file...
boot
csc
modem

for boot and csc i need to put it at image to download rite..?
for modem...i need to put it at where?

after xtract 2.0.9full pda
i got one file pda...

my question
for one pakage is only for motafoca version rite...
so in odin, pda section no need to insert anything...
and for full pda will be insert and one pakage no need to insert anything...

is it correct?
if correct... do i need to tick one pakage or not if using full?


nvm i had flash it...it working great...^^,

you generally don't need to extract it, just use the "package" option or something.

all motafoca edition dont need to be extracted. just use one package .

for full???
oke now
it need to download 2 file...
one is 2.0.9PDA_FULL.tar.7z
and one is I5500_BaseFiles.7z

two of them need to be extract rite?
then after i extract this two i got 4 item

from basefile
BOOT.tar.md5
CSC.tar.md5
MODEM.tar

from 2.0.9pda
PDA_FULL.tar.md5..

btw i had use all this 4 file and flash my phone...
and it working like charm...

and in my infomation only motafoca recomended use one package...
the others extract will got 4 file...
idk if i wrong...

that what i said. motafoca edition only. i never test DashBlack(full) edition.

after my question all said one package...=.=

all leaked froyo. + motafoca rom. all already one package lol. this about 6 month a go. or more than that. all package is easy rather than select one and another one.

i found this in XDA....he from finland...when will Malaysia?

by the way i don't think that i wan to flash official froyo as i'm using mota ROM....They r working for us to have multitouch....

I've bought myself a G5 3 weeks ago. I'm not sure the phone auto-shut down itself or hanged or whatsoever. It don't respond when i trying to unlock the phone. Keep pressing the buttons but still its in black screen. I have to take the batt and insert it back and restart again =____=. Anyone know why is this happen?

You must me used a youtube downloading app that buggy, it happen to me before

hey.. just got my i5503 today! =) it seems like a new version of motafoca is out - 2.0.9.1
1.should i flash with that or the 2.0.9 final??
2. do we need to check the one package box during the process? there's some who said we should not check that box..
3. do we need to enable USB debugging during flashing?? coz i read from the manual that we need to enable it to install KIES. do we need to do the same for flash?
4. after finish flashing, do we need to do a hard reset?
i need this rom as it allows moving apps to sd and improving battery life, like they said. hope not to have any bugs after flashing though..
if there're any, pls let me know so that i won't freak out when i encounter them! haha.. if can, solutions for those bugs as well..
i will wait for a reply b4 flashing my NEW phone!! thanks a lot!!

Need help improving my phone's battery life. I flashed to 2.0.9 last week and although it is super fast, the battery drainage has been ridiculous. My phone won't even last 24 hours, and that's without me using any apps/games.
