I know one way to solve this problem. Just press *#*#526#*#* then the wifi driver will automatic restart, most of the time it will show reload sussesfull or something like that. then u can turn on wifi now!!

yeah i know that procedure, but it state that only after cmw 7....right now i using motafoca 2.09 final, the older version than that
so how?

does anyone know how to fix "wifi unable to start" problem?

The only solution is restart phone, i have this problem before only 1% time. I've try the *#*#526#*#* and the artheros reloader program but still cannot. At last restart phone solve my problem.

installed blade wifi fix and set policy to never and restart still the same missing wifi signal issue, i think flash to new official froyo is only the choice

ya.. no hotfix, so you can skip that part. just flash v1.0 then Google Apps.. later if there a hotfix out, just flash hotfix only.

If before flashing I want to wipe, should I format my sdcard?
Since I'll enable google sync after flashing, so I want to unistall all apps first before flashing. Backup and restore the apps with Titanium Backup will do the job right?

dont need to format sdcard, on this version, if you having problem after flash, you just need to data wipe on recovery mode.

I think you dont need to uninstall any app if you want to use and enable Google Sync.. what ever you do, just backup your app/data using titanium backup for safety.

-get on clockwork recovery mode, wipe data / cache
-flash new rom.
-restore backup / install apps.
-done

based on my experience (flashing from froyo to CM7.1), everything apps I installed before, were automatically downloaded after flashing is finished and connected to Internet.

yes, sorry for the lack of info in previous comment, if no data wipe and no apps uninstalled, google sync dont do anything, if data wipe then google sync will install missing apps. :-)

My GT-I5503 is having problem with 'Mobile network' and I can't figure out what is causing the problem or how to fix it.

Baseband version:
I5503DXJP6
Kernel version:
2.6.32.9-perf

Ok, here is the problem description:

My data (internet/3G) always get disabled, somehow.

Checking Settings -> Wireless & network settings -> Mobile network shows Mobile network as checked BUT the whole field is disabled (dimmed).

If I turn off the phone and turn it back on, the data connection (3G) will be available again but after some idling or so, the same thing happens again.

I have tried reset the phone but the problem persist without extra apps installed.

If this is a known problem, please point me to the solution. Otherwise troubleshooting suggestions are welcomed. Thanks in advanced.

i am using cyanogen 7.1 v0.9. I cant access to android market. When i open it. it show loading then come out to the default screen. why?

Install Quick Settings from the market. It'll help you with the Network settings.
