Hi all.. I have just but G5 and this is my first SAMSUNG and also my first ANDROID phone.. :-)

This is a great phone.. i surf internet untill battery less to 9%.

But im having a problem.. each time i make a call.. my phone gt-i5503 automatic swith off. this not happen while connecting to internet or sms or in standby mode. only happen when in call...

anyone have this problem before? Any ideas to fix?

did u run "su" and "mad2sd on" in the phone's terminal emu and then reboot? if no, it'll be slow. i dun use swap and it's fast, but i'm not sure if this is the cause of the slow. madteam did recommend to delete swap if it's slow. another issue is the class of your sdcard. I use class 6. i've read that below class 4 is slow.

Yup done dat after flash hotfix.. any diff reboot n shutdown coz i do shutdown .. btw mine class 4 huhu.. o shud i reflash again..

yes, partition as ext4 ,primary, for mad2sd to work. and also flash v0.4 hotfix4 too.

i flash already mine G5 to CM7.1 but my bluetooth only can receive file if i try to send it failed..is it bug?

helping a friend. he tried to update his G5 by using kies.. and the phone fell off the table.. while it was still downloading the new firmware to the phone.. the usb cable came out so now when turned on, it shows a picture of a computer and a phone.. can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Never have problem while using previous e-clair.. better ask the shop where u've bought ur G5.. Or perhaps others can give any solution guide...

you can try this but you need to flash the rom by your own.... try takeout battary a few minute..then put it back...go to recovery mode (vol down + center button + powerbutton) then flash the official rom....

i had face this problem before... i accidently take out usb cable when flash... so i do it like i said above...i manage to boot up properly... any question u can ask here...=)

Hi, what's the password for this rom?

Guide :

1) a) Download Malaysia's official froyo rom as you'll need the baseband (I5503DXJP6) to work for GPS. The recommended basebands  (European - I5500XWJP4 and America - I5500LUYJPE) by Madteam doesn't work for me for my GPS ; and so is the UK baseband (I5500LUYJP2).

b) Download Link (Malaysia official froyo rom) :

b) Flash this rom (but it'll be the official Malaysia froyo 2.2). We need its baseband and it won't change when later you flash to any of MadTeam's Roms.

c) Do data wipe/factory reset.

I never flashed to original froyo.. Directly flash to mad team rom.. If i'm not mistaken... Froyo should be 2.2.. 2.1 is eclair..

thank you, flashing at this moment, I was using Cyanogenmod with gingerbread but my phone was shutting off, any nice stable Cyanogenmod for this phone? I started following this topic in Ver1. and there's a bounch of new info
