did u run "su" and "mad2sd on" in the phone's terminal emu and then reboot? if no, it'll be slow. i dun use swap and it's fast, but i'm not sure if this is the cause of the slow. madteam did recommend to delete swap if it's slow. another issue is the class of your sdcard. I use class 6. i've read that below class 4 is slow.

yes, partition as ext4 ,primary, for mad2sd to work. and also flash v0.4 hotfix4 too.

shutdown and on again = same as reboot. if it's slow, i suggest reflash again with your sdcard inserted.

yes, it's a bug. but for some it works on cm7.1 rom. you can use "bluetooth file transfer" app (download from the android market).

you can try this but you need to flash the rom by your own.... try takeout battary a few minute..then put it back...go to recovery mode (vol down + center button + powerbutton) then flash the official rom....
http://www.mediafire.com/?si659w0w9d9pt40 <-- link to the official froyo..
follow the step in it... after finish flash...do hard reset...

i had face this problem before... i accidently take out usb cable when flash... so i do it like i said above...i manage to boot up properly... any question u can ask here...=)

Guide :

1) a) Download Malaysia's official froyo rom as you'll need the baseband (I5503DXJP6) to work for GPS. The recommended basebands  (European - I5500XWJP4 and America - I5500LUYJPE) by Madteam doesn't work for me for my GPS ; and so is the UK baseband (I5500LUYJP2).

b) Download Link (Malaysia official froyo rom) :

i) http://www.mediafire.com/?si659w0w9d9pt40

ii) password : malaysia

b) Flash this rom (but it'll be the official Malaysia froyo 2.2). We need its baseband and it won't change when later you flash to any of MadTeam's Roms.

c) Do data wipe/factory reset.

The most stable mad rom so far (suitable for daily use) is 2.0.9. I've never encountered any problem using it... cyanogen yes.. still has minor problem.. But the rom awesome.. tongue.gif

p/s For those who're unfamiliar with flashing guide, please refer to 1st page on "Leaked FroYo flashing guide". The step i think just the same.. just download n extract the official froyo rom instead of leaked froyo from samfirmware. Otherwise u need to upgrade through Samsung Kies (Need to update to latest samsung kies 1st)

I used Europa 1.0 with no issues, not sure if it's because of my location.
