yes, if youthclub expires then rate will stay the same but validity will be based on reload amount. just subscribe to validity365 then, rm33 for a year validity and u'll get to keep cheap youthclub rate plus validity365 long validity. dont change to #hotlink, that plan cannot subscribe to validity365.

#hotlink plan and hyc alot different.

#hotlink plan validity grace period 50 days and hyc is 90 days

Hyc all maxis numbers are active10 but hotlink plan you need to add maximum 10

Sms to maxis is 2 cent if I am not wrong first 5 then it's 1 cent.

But the old plan maxis hide the information very deep until you can't much information about it.

u less use the line?

u just want the validity longer period?

Right totally forgot about Validity365. But the RM33 is just to extend active period right it doesn't give any credit what so ever? During grace period is free internet available?

Because of the low rates of HYC, my mobile usage is only about 20 bucks / month, since now expired wanna see if there are any plans worth getting since data getting more and more useful :33

Yeah I've been digging their website but the information they provide is soooo shakehead.gif Can anyone clarify what exactly does "top up to stay active" mean?

no, free internet not availabe during grace period, just in active period. and yes, the rm33 is a charge fee.
imho the cheap hyc rate is more worth it than the free internet. the free internet is only upto 64kbps aka 7kBps max. only suitable for very light usage ie whatsapp. if u really wanna test the free internet then just go buy new simcard, if dun like then can throw it away. atleast with that u still got your hyc. but if u converted your hyc to #hotlink but didn't like it then you're stuck with it, no way to revert back into your hyc. changing plan into #hotlink is a one way street, no turning back rolleyes.gif

earlier got loophole where before changing plan to #hotlink u can subscribe to validity365 first, then after got the one year validity u straight away change plan to #hotlink, can get the free internet for a full whole year with that. nowadays any plan changing to #hotlink will revert validity to 30days.

u mean celcom not stable?

Does XOX belong to Celcom?
No. XOX has a commercial arrangement with Celcom to use Celcom’s Mobile Network infrastructure.

Thanks for the insight, been looking at UMI plans that I like too. But I'd like to ask something about MNP, can I sign up for a new plan, let's say UMI28, if I don't like I'll stop using it but if I like I can still do the MNP thing right?

Guys, seems that #hotlink has no more extend validity option, I've been thinking of grace period.
Based on this page from Hotlink forum, the grace period of the new #hotlink plan is 50 days

Hotlink Forum

By the time around the end of grace period (let say the 48th day), if I top up RM 5 it will extend the validity period for 5 days (can call/SMS/MI). My question is will the grace period will be 50 days again?

guys, I have some questions here.
I went to survey about different plans and stuff from digi, maxis and celcom today.

Conclusion I've got is that celcom plan is a definite no-no. Expensive and the data doesn't throttle. It just straight away cut off directly.

Anyway, my dad is very interested on the new maxis one plan since his bill is always 100++. So I'm thinking of getting a sub-line with data.

Currently our whole family are under subline of my dad's main line at celcom. My dad's current plan is Rm50 worth of call at rm0.10 /min and additional rm38 1gb data plan which will throttle. ( this is a old plan, the new data plan of rm38 1gb add on will not throttle once you pass the limit, will straight cut off )

On the other hand, us siblings and my mom is under a sub line plan of rm 15 with no data. 4 of us doesn't call much but I need a data plan .

Since my dad is interested on the maxis one plan, assuming he make the change. I will most probably take the surfmore 30 plan.

Question:
1. Anyone using the new maxis one plan 138 plan? Is it really that good? unlimited calls to all telcos including fixed line. My instinct immediately when I see that is there will be a catch some where.

2. What if one day the plan is no longer available? Will my dad still be under that plan or will he be forced to change plan? ( Maxis center told me the plan will not be dropped , but i just want to double confirm here )

3. Are there any plan suitable for my mum who just call very little? But at the same time I want to let her use data for waze when she have to go somewhere she's not familiar with. Are there any one day data plan that she can subscribe to when ever she wants to use it? If yes, can any kind soul show me? Thanks.

4. Thanks alot for your time.

1. Yes confirm unlimited my partner been calling me using that plan
the catch is do not abuse. There a guy that was caught abusing and maxis barred his line and given him a big penalty.

2. From our experience if the plan no more usually you still have it except they change the plan usage or limit

3. Yes you can buy 1 day data plan or waze only or RM18 for 100MB for 1month.
