I recommend validity365, safer in case Maxis withdraw these validity options later on.

I have heard of maxis overcharging their customers before. Never thought i would be on the receiving end.

I am using their talkmore 48 plan. I have yet to fully exhaust my 200sms quota. (198 to be exact). Yet the funny thing is i am charge RM21.20 for sms-es whilst the rebate is only RM20.90. sounds ridiculous, doesnt it? Isn't the rebate based on the amount of sms sent and not the charge of each respective sms-es?

Furthermore, the same goes for my phone call. I noticed they overcharged me by RM2.00. No doubt i have exceeded the 400 mins quota but when i recalculated, it's obvious they have overcharged me.

It may be only a small amount by i guess it just goes to show how irresponsible telcos would subtly overcharge their customers without them noticing. 1 customer RM2.00. a thousand customers would be a whopping RM2000. easy money for telcos eh?

By the way i am making a complaint. but as usual, their system is down. typical excuse i guess.

anyone here knows the maxis surfmore 30 1GB monthly internet data, how does it work after exceeding 1gb? it stops you from surfing? lets u surf by charging u more on ur bill? or lets u surf free of charge but in a much slower speed?

I actually like #hotlink plan. The 64kbps is enough for whatsapp and surprisingly can Facetime Audio.

Has anyone tried Viber on #hotlink 64kbps speed?

For example if u use RM5 to buy 1GB internet for 1 day, you will get RM1 Duit Raya from Hotlink:)
Duit Raya credit is only applicable for calls and SMS between Maxis and Hotlink numbers.

Heads-up for Maxis postpaid user - I've just been charged 6% service tax on monthly charges usage instead of previously only 6% on usage charges.

Talked to Maxis they say it's new tax imposed by gov starting July bill the 6% encompass both on monthly charges and usage charges. GST should have come next year but this starts early  

They also informed it's across all telco.

This is just a fan club, user for user. It's not the official / company site. I doubt you will get any useful / official response from the company's staff here.

#hotlink plan validity grace period 50 days and hyc is 90 days

Hyc all maxis numbers are active10 but hotlink plan you need to add maximum 10

Sms to maxis is 2 cent if I am not wrong first 5 then it's 1 cent.

But the old plan maxis hide the information very deep until you can't much information about it.

How to make order ?

Hi guys, i just realised my hotlink number has been cancelled and recycled into the market after being away from Malaysia for half a year!!

As I am not based in Malaysia anymore, i seldom have my hotlink sim in my phone whilst overseas.. But having said that, i return to Malaysia on a frequent basis such a trip in every 6 months, so would still need a Malaysia number, and would like to minimise having to keep changing phone number everytime I return to KL.

Does anyone has any suggestion on what package i should get from hotlink in order to be able to maintain a number which will be the most reasonable/appropriate for my condition? I wont be using it much on international roaming so i dont envisage to heavily topup/reload hotlink, but will reload as necessary if it meant it could maintain my number.

Suggestion please??
