Q1: Is there a condition I need to meet during my subscription to Hotlink 365?
A: Yes. You will need to accumulate top up of RM30 or more in the first six months of your 365 validity days. (e.g. a minimum of RM5 x 6 months or RM10 x 3 months). However, please note that top ups contributed from Share a Top-up feature will not be considered in this case. sos |

QUOTE(BoltStore @ Oct 3 2013, 03:05 PM) Very tricky campaign to trap user to switch plan. care to elaborate more on bolded part? realy interested to buy new hotlink simcard just for the free internet, and from my understanding the free internet is free free internet as advertized, can use as long as we in active period.-FREE INTERNET gimmick (NOT FREE, its exchanged from ur call and active period) -Rm10 = 10days Active period only. (U18 WIN) -CUT all the Active10, Validity90 and 365. (Shit Trap) Final Decision : Old Hotlink plan still the BEST. (Topup rm10, Active10, 90days active period. WIN prepaid plan) Caveat emptor my friends, think and do research before you switch. =) |

QUOTE(lulusantos @ Jan 23 2014, 09:22 AM) Hi all, #hotlink plan got tenure before allowing to mnp, either 3 months or 6 months, not really sure.I got another question. After retrieving my expired prepaid # and register under postpaid, how long before I can change the number back to prepaid? postpaid depends on your contract, need to pay termination fee else mnp would fail. |

QUOTE(BenSow @ Aug 24 2014, 04:37 PM) Hey guys, signed up for Hotlink Youth Club about 4 years back and it has expired. But from what I've read before my plan still remains the same right? Just that I have to top up to stay active (and hotlink is doing a very bad job at telling us what that means) which is about RM1/day I presume? Since I have to pay RM1/day to stay active, I might as well switch to #Hotlink right? Or are there any other cheaper plans? My mobile usage isn't very demanding sooo yes, if youthclub expires then rate will stay the same but validity will be based on reload amount. just subscribe to validity365 then, rm33 for a year validity and u'll get to keep cheap youthclub rate plus validity365 long validity. dont change to #hotlink, that plan cannot subscribe to validity365.https://new.hotlink.com.my/en/plans/validity-365.html |

QUOTE(BenSow @ Aug 24 2014, 11:08 PM) Right totally forgot about Validity365. But the RM33 is just to extend active period right it doesn't give any credit what so ever? During grace period is free internet available? no, free internet not availabe during grace period, just in active period. and yes, the rm33 is a charge fee.Because of the low rates of HYC, my mobile usage is only about 20 bucks / month, since now expired wanna see if there are any plans worth getting since data getting more and more useful :33 Yeah I've been digging their website but the information they provide is soooo imho the cheap hyc rate is more worth it than the free internet. the free internet is only upto 64kbps aka 7kBps max. only suitable for very light usage ie whatsapp. if u really wanna test the free internet then just go buy new simcard, if dun like then can throw it away. atleast with that u still got your hyc. but if u converted your hyc to #hotlink but didn't like it then you're stuck with it, no way to revert back into your hyc. changing plan into #hotlink is a one way street, no turning back earlier got loophole where before changing plan to #hotlink u can subscribe to validity365 first, then after got the one year validity u straight away change plan to #hotlink, can get the free internet for a full whole year with that. nowadays any plan changing to #hotlink will revert validity to 30days. QUOTE(syncomp @ Aug 28 2014, 05:40 PM) Guys, seems that #hotlink has no more extend validity option, I've been thinking of grace period. yes grace period will reset again each time u reload or got credit share.Based on this page from Hotlink forum, the grace period of the new #hotlink plan is 50 days Hotlink Forum By the time around the end of grace period (let say the 48th day), if I top up RM 5 it will extend the validity period for 5 days (can call/SMS/MI). My question is will the grace period will be 50 days again? thats what i've been doing for my spare #hotlink number, reload rm5 and wait around 50 days to reload again |

QUOTE(jenatic @ Nov 20 2014, 10:51 AM) Hi guys, i just realised my hotlink number has been cancelled and recycled into the market after being away from Malaysia for half a year!! currently none from hotlink suites your need. no more validity365 for new plan.As I am not based in Malaysia anymore, i seldom have my hotlink sim in my phone whilst overseas.. But having said that, i return to Malaysia on a frequent basis such a trip in every 6 months, so would still need a Malaysia number, and would like to minimise having to keep changing phone number everytime I return to KL. Does anyone has any suggestion on what package i should get from hotlink in order to be able to maintain a number which will be the most reasonable/appropriate for my condition? I wont be using it much on international roaming so i dont envisage to heavily topup/reload hotlink, but will reload as necessary if it meant it could maintain my number. Suggestion please?? Thanks! |
