in the song 'Silent', you can hear the riff from Silent Death's song Dying Moment.

For local act i only have Mandatory (Penang) , Suffercation-Day of Darkness album and BLACK ROSE

suffercation is cool. bought their cassette just to joint the contest to get myself a pacifica at first but was later hooked by their songs. nice rythm works and tight drumming from razak brothers...

oh yeah... now i remember there was a contest in the cassette sleeve.
i liked the album... nice slow death rythm, very heavy. bob razak and ly razak kan?

errr... if i remembered it correctly the line up was:
Rob Razak - guitar/vox
Ly Razak - drums
something Ilyas - bass

i was 14 and Rob was wearing deicide t-shirt and that to me makes it cooler... making me feel like going back to my hometown to get those fungus infested cassette and make it listenable again....

anybody know that there are compilation for northern region death/black metal from physic scream ---> sil-khannaz, mistik, mandatory etc...i read in flyers when i went to gig at jln tun razak sumwhere in kl, dunno lar, my fren brought me..it said released in july but i cant find it lorr..

Bal sagoth- war metal . i still have their cd. most of their songs sounds the same, gets kinda boring after few listens
