Is the Auntie and Uncle from Campbell Complex still there? I've been a loyal customer since I was 15 years old (I'm 24 now) but I haven't been there in ages.
Man, I miss the days of getting good cds at Rm70. Haha! |

Campbell Music is still there and still going strong despite rivals from the music store across them and Nebiula Records. At least they were still there last month.Man, I miss the days of getting good cds at Rm70. Haha! And as far as I could remember, they have been there for at least 16 years ago when I start purchasing cassettes from them. This post has been edited by xnobys: Aug 14 2008, 10:38 PM |

They're the nicest metalheads and greatly knowledgeable, too.And as far as I could remember, they have been there for at least 16 years ago when I start purchasing cassettes from them. Without being too anal: The subgenres of metal are underground. Type O Negative and Dog Eat Dog? Hmm...Borderline stuff at the very most. Burzum, Darkthrone and Immortal are black metal. |

You mean they were like that all the time or just recently ?same goes to mullet for my valentine... the band's name already not metal, more like emo trying very hard to play metal. thank god trivium had stop being metallica wannabe. Surely Waking The Fallen cannot be called whiny. Anyway what you guys think of Norma Jean ? |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Aug 24 2008, 09:22 PM) i hate avenged sevenfold's whiny boyband-ish chorus Mullet's ruled in the 80's. Not too sure about them for Valentine's. same goes to mullet for my valentine... the band's name already not metal, more like emo trying very hard to play metal. thank god trivium had stop being metallica wannabe. And judging from the latest sample, Trivium is still trying to ripoff Metallica. Which is fine, since Metallica haven't been good for the past 10 years. QUOTE(silbii @ Aug 24 2008, 09:32 PM) Black Tide is actually pretty darn decent. Not the best, obviously, but definitely not bad on the ears. Their cover of Metallica's classic, Hit the Lights, though, is horrible. |
