He was in Brujeria but not for too long.

And yes, Divine Heresy has good material. Dino did bring the original sound of Fear Factory to his new band. The singer is good.

But I'm more excited waiting for Arch Enemy's "Rise of the Tyrant"

hmm...i've gotten quite stuck to Avenged Sevenfold's Waking the Fallen album. not their City of Evil latest album, that's almost mainstream metal. i'm talking bout d album which kickstarted their career. anyone here has an opinion of Waking the Fallen?
yknow, coz most nu-metal bands dont play guitar solos anymore. they put more focus into riffs and screams. the lead guitarist in avenged sevenfold is pretty slick, IMO. i think he got an award for Best Young Shredder last year.

Nile's egyptian metal is really aggressive too, besides Amon Amarth, the viking metal band.

New Arch Enemy sounds like the last album. Which was awful.

Divine Heresy, hmm. They're definitely better than latter day Fear Factory but the vocals are friggin' horrible. Tim Yeung is one badbutt drummer!

for me Waking the Fallen is the best A7X album so far..
their sound from Waking the Fallen can describe as metalcore IMO..

well, i started out listening to industrial on godflesh and i really havent listened to their whole collection yet. also on the lookout for other good industrial bands but damn hard to find in msia
