Just fyi, EeePCs only come with 1 year warranty.

The 1215B's case is hard to open, but not impossible. Access to the hard drive is through the keyboard so that's the only place you need to take particular care about. Also, you will void the warranty.

Went to Digital Mall just now to compare acer 4253 and asus K43U

End up buying K43U,so much nicer build quality than acer.

Saw 1215 and dm1z but screen to small to my liking.

cost 1299 with free gifts biggrin.gif

Asked the staff at ASUS PC Fair for 1215B.
He said that they dont bring AMD laptop because AMD got problem. hmm.gif
Don't know how to respond to that, I walk away

K43U stock also available in PC Fair. Uses the new A43 series body but with the old K42 color scheme. Retails for 1299.

I wanted to get the Acer Aspire One 522 with AMD C50 processor. However it seems like Malaysia doesn't have it. Asus have one with C50 though.

Btw, what's the difference between E350 and C50?
