Did you mean Evernew in Sunway Pyramid?

Well AFAIK, RAM is user upgradeable in the 1215 series and the chipset is capable of supporting up to 8GB of RAM except it will only run in single channel.

That's what the product guide says. But some website mention there are several version of 1215B.

It's a variant. Sometimes, Asus likes to play around with the specs to save cost while throwing in some other thing which in this case is an OS.
