Siuyi, I got two identical keys with remote control. This is the key to start the car. I did not get any manual key.

As stated in the manual, there are two types of key. Type A is manual. Type B is with remote control. Two keys are provided for each type. Therefore, there should be a total of 4 keys.

After consulting my salesman, he said the two manual keys is with Proton. He said all cars are only provided with the two remote control keys. The manual keys are kept by Proton. Huh?

now i seem to get it why so many proton cars get stolen.... sweat.gif

Type B key or manual key is only provided to Saga BLM N-Line...for B-line, M-line, SE and FL they provide with Type A/ with remote control and alarm.
Correct me if im wrong...
*
yup i think you are correct cause n-line doesn't have the remote function,so it has to use the manual key but both b line and m line uses the remote key, even i was given only two remote keys smile.gif

If u come from Old Klang Road. Then u go straight heading to NPE towards Subang. Then u will pass by the PJS1. Is just after the Wisma Peter's. Quite easy to locate it smile.gif.
*
oh i think i know that place i normally go to pj but i need to continue straight instead.....thanks bro

High budget, use k&n.. Low budget, use simota.. Both r great products.. If kotor juz cuci... No need change anymore... Or if u wanna try something new, y dont u try open pod... Hrheheheh
*
bro i heard open pod not recommended for auto car is it true and some said that in malaysia temp is high so it will suck in hot air and reduce the power at high speed.

dun hav la... i dun hav any lubang at kuching... i juz jalan2 cari kedai accessories if i need anything... btw recommended shops are Proride at Jalan Haji Taha & HLK Auto Accessories at Ban Hock (near Supreme Hotel)...

u at kuching now? no more at serdang?
open pod will suck more air than usual and will suck anyway in around the opening surface... to use open pod system, u need an air box, to isolate the hot air zone from the pod opening, the best if u combine it with cold-air-intake... here is an example..

this is a good setup
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

this is an unefficient/hot air setup
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

about the "not recommended for auto", i hav no idea... it shudnt do reverse effect since the function is only to allow more air to ur intake, more air, more fuel, more power...
*
thanks alot bro with the aid of the diagram i have a better idea now and may opt for open pod rclxms.gif

today i saw free pdt tuning near old klang road new proton sc after the police station,so i decided to give it a try.I

went inside and they said free pdt tuning if you service the car only.I banged them said why you put today PDT tuning

for free, later they agreed to do the tuning. But since it is my first time i'm not sure what they should actually do.I saw

them plugging a device below the steering than i saw him pressing the keys non-stop,than he told ecu reset already

now wait for another guy to check. That other guy basically rev the car on the same spot, i'm not sure at what gears

but he alternate between 2 gears. He said thats all done.

Is this what u call tuning?? doh.gif

i did double tint when i when there to claim warranty, but trust me the tint is useless.....it allows all the heat inside the

car and added feature where it traps the heat inside the car for you... rclxms.gif

some of the tuning.. just monitor your throttle behaviour.. TPS..AFS and etc.. that is y.. he ram up ur car.. since ur car is still new.. i dont think need for them to tune anything..

yup may be you are right he ask my mileage......my car has run 35k,but after the so called tuning my car feels better now especially the gear changing(auto) more smoother.
