oh chain ar belt ar i duno, im not so technical.

my dad just called me up, our BLM got into some serious issue this morning. car left undriven for 3 days, then this morning cannot start. not about the battery, but the piston of the engine. mechanic came and put some WD40 at the piston ring there, few attempts to ignite, the engine move. mechanic says this issue is not new, there's an FL at our place, just on the road for 2 weeks, same issue like our 3 yo BLM. we did not proceed to COE for the warranty claim coz our ride is 3 yo, and we did not service at COE, and as well as using our self-brought engine oil for every treatment at the authorized SC.

Can anyone tell me what's the golden colored rod at the bottom there? It's not connected. And my radiator fan won't turn off. Waited some 10 minutes and it's still running doh.gif

normally when doing corner/turn, the car body will roll to the other side... installing ARB (anti-roll bar) will reduce ur body roll for more stable cornering...

refer this pic.. both car taking corner, the right car has less body roll than the left car...

testimonial from my wife today, her body less dragged to the side when i'm taking corner... hehehehe... bini dah approve, selamattt~

All the BLMs, pre-FL or not are mechanically identical, save the 1.6 taxi model. I should think all of them use a timing belt.

Oh dear. Could the mechanic have forgotten to install some sensor?

Thanks for the pic. Quite a difference eh? Our BLM's stock ride and handling is pretty decent but I really wished it has less roll. Maybe this should be my next upgrade icon_idea.gif

This is a weird problem. So the piston basically jammed?

I went overseas for 3 days and had my car parked at the basement car park during that time. So far no issues. Not sure how the piston could've gotten jammed. Or could it be some other problem?

Or maybe this is related to all those difficult to start engine cases we have? I think all of us have kena before, the engine difficult to start at one time or another.

So basically the fan keeps turning even after you turn off the engine and more than 10 mins? I suggest you take it back to the workshop. Seems like some sensor is missing or something.

which workshop did u go to? last year at this time i also kena langgar, not kena haha, was i langgar other people, also need to change bumper, bonnet, radiator, condensor, headlamp, foglamp and so on related. i brought back to pesc to claim insurance, semua settle siap siap. no problem at all
when taking my car back, the worker showed me all the old parts which were replaced and pointed out all new parts. and also taught me to identify the genuine sign on the new parts with another blm to ensure tht all the parts replaced are orignal.

For that price i'd rather get pennzoil platinum fully synthetic 5W-30.
And btw, sometimes my car is left for 5 days and so far there's no issues starting up my 1-year old car.
