Shouldn't you consult your bank officer on this?
Moreover i think majority of us here pays some downpayment for the car.

Yup. u should consult ur bank officer or SA.

if i'm not mistaken, the procedure is the same as normal. difference only on part of Guarantor. normal doesnt necessarily need one. but for graduate, they will evaluate your Guarantor financial strength.

Yes, me. Locks when you hit the brake, unlocks when you switch off the engine. I think it was RM 300, my salesman did it for me. Oh, and I think the alarm system was beefed up too. Pressure sensor installed and the locks reinforced against picking (I dunno how).

Just the auto lock system with installation should be around Rm80-150, to change new alarm system about rm300 for local made brand, Rm450+ for 2way alarm system. Rm1000+ for branded 2 way alarm system. Currently i m using SPY 2 way alarm for my car, so far just not satisfy the remote control because build in battery.

what i read was that changing the alarm is not necessary, as it is a plug and play add on

The others are right. You should check with the banks directly. The advice they give is easily better than what we can offer you here.

Personally, I haven't even heard of the scheme.

Which is exactly what Kent Goh said earlier. Try checking on the reputation of the seller as well. If there's any good or bad feedback. Workmanship is a very important thing. Please bear in mind installing this would be voiding your electronics warranty as well.

for example:

9 yr installment

yr 1 - RM350
yr 2 - RM370
yr 3 - RM390
yr 4 - RM420
yr 5 - RM450
yr 6 - RM470
yr 7 - RM470
yr 8 - RM490
yr 9 - RM490

which means, fresh graduate juz gonna start their carrier, small installment for startup and will gradually increase by year... i saw this advertisement at Bank Islam last year, dunno which other bank offered the same package...

unlike our loan.. if start at RM450... until the final payment also RM450... btw mine is Rm409.. RM6k d/p.. 9 yrs...

Hmm, means Campro without IAFM is default at short runner? hmm.gif Cause IAFM is to improve torque dip from 3-4k...

But this IAFM is for Persona and gen2, Campro 1.3 same also?

icic. Well I guess it does look convenient for fresh grads.

Btw, bloody hell, your downpayment less than mine, but still your installment less than mine. I HATE the interest i'm paying. mad.gif sad.gif

yeah same and the old intake has no long runner function...

the whole switching function in the intake is called iafm, the iafm activated at 750 rpm..long runner

then it switches to short runner at 4.4k...
