CWM 2.5.1.3 is one of the most stable release for CWM ..and most of the ROMs are still using that one as their flasher ..got to change to CWM3 before because CM7 nightlies can only work with that version of CWM

ya la.. that's why i did not want to update to latest version.. but yet, still depends on which ROM we want to flash.. whether can support 2.5.1.3 or higher..

btw monza, i just curious about 1 thing.. let say i update to CWM 3.x.x.x then change mind to downgrade back to 2.x.x.x.. i just flash older 1 using ROM Manager --> All CWM Recoveries..? other method that i know was using adb to push the recovery image..

DHD Sifus.. can i ask something.. how do i just show contacts from phone memory contacts whenever i touch the "phone" option on the main homescreen.. the one that come up with the dialer? I tried to disable it in the 'people" option but seems like it cannot work.. Please help me

me also on CWM 3 dy. aLso no problems since rom-hopping around Lee, ARHD, CM7...

I've been searching up and down for that as well. No solutions found so far

Facebook/other contacts can be hidden in People, but still shown in Dialer.. Annoying

Nope, one thing about ROM Manager is that you can't flash the older version of CWM, you can only update it to the current official one ...still need ADB to push the recovery file if want to downgrade

how bout install update.zip (older version) in CWM also cannot ma??

Use 3rd party dialer such as Dialer One or such...another way is to delete those contacts and only use one, FB contact for instance, then you need to delete your phone,sim & other contacts..but make sure you make a backup for that

let say if you use 3rd party home replacement i.e LauncherPro, you can change the dock's shortcut and icon.. say you change shortcut to People and use dialer icon, if you tap dialer icon it will go into People.. but if you're using Stock ROM, i'm not so sure because i forgot how Stock ROM look like..

as for you guys information, CWM 3.0.0.6 is not the latest one, instead its an official stable release for CWM ...i got recovery image for 3.0.1.0 which i think is the latest recovery

really can't downgrade using ROM Manager..? ok, nvm.. because i just know using adb method to push recovery image.. i just tot maybe got other easier way..

that one not sure.. but i think cannot.. i forgot where i check maybe XDA, someone flash recovery image just like you said but phone hang..

Try this :

1. Power Off your phone
2. Hold volume down button & then press Power button
3. Should be in bootloader mode, check the upper side on the left, is it written PVT SHIP OFF??

have you done Radio S-Off and ENG S-OFF correctly..?

owh.. haha okok thanks for the replies.. i just got my DHD couple days ago.. so wanna stay with stock rom for awhile xD.. i shall try 3rd party apps =)

i tried but it juz turn on again, no bootloader screen
i thought backup nonit do s-off eng-off

bro u try remove ur battery 1st, then put back, press vol - and power button , i think can go to bootloader, cos fastboot make it direct boot to home screen

eh, how come you didn't have bootloader.. i think you make some mistakes before.. do you have quickboot..? install quickboot, open it and tap bootloader.. see can go into bootloader or not..

Actually can disable fastboot via Settings > Applications > untick 'Fast boot'
