Root your phone, and download "ShootMe" from Market. Shake your phone to take screenshoot.

Anyone have the Android Revolution 2.1.zip's MD5? Thinking of trying old version than 3.0. Don't know why mine can't last long with WiFi. But bro monza's can last so long doh.gif

Menu --> Settings --> Wireless & Network --> Wi-Fi Settings --> Menu --> Advanced --> Wi-Fi Sleep Policy you select which one..? Better use Never.
*
It's on "never".

Battery stats: from 12am till now 4pm, 100% to 16%. WiFi on most of the time. Not good enough, compared with bro monza... hmm.gif

QUOTE(Taetsu @ Mar 9 2011, 04:11 PM)
how was your usage thru the day?
if it is moderate usage, you should'd left 40 ~ 50%..  at least

i unplugged my phone last night before sleep @ 1am, morning woke up @ 8am battery only drain 3% (WiFi off)
now left 45% with WiFi on since morning, 20+ calls, 30mins game, 1 hour browsing, read some emails etc..
*
Basically I plugged off and went to sleep at 12am with WiFi on. Morning wake up at 7am and left 64 %. Art. WiFi turned off till 820 and on non stop till 1140. Then WiFi on-and-off for a while till 4pm. My usage just some web browsing and less than 20 minutes of gaming. According to the log, its kinda weird as some other members here such as monza; only drain 1% per hour with WiFi on (not sure is it connected or not.)
QUOTE(koinibler @ Mar 9 2011, 04:26 PM)
as i remember, monza also use juice defender hmm.gif
*
What's that?

haha, not using that app anymore, with or without it, the same result sweat.gif

well, 12am --> 4pm (100% ---> 16%), now that really a drainer sad.gif..mine 12am (100%) till 6am (94%)...and then 6am (94%) till 4pm (55%), this is with playing music for 2 hours and also surfing the internet smile.gif

Added on March 9, 2011, 4:34 pm

No custom kernel for ARHD 4.0 as for now, gotta use the stock one (the one that comes with GB smile.gif )
*
Bro. Monza, any suggestions to improve the situation?

that's bad..~ 1 thing, do you need to on wifi all the time..?  hmm.gif i mean even when sleeping.
*
Not really, but I just wanna do some testing, using monza's battery life as my target/comparison. lol laugh.gif

QUOTE(Taetsu @ Mar 9 2011, 04:53 PM)
Disable Auto-sync, its gonna save you hell lot of juice..
*
It's not enabled sad.gif

QUOTE(monza84 @ Mar 9 2011, 04:53 PM)
@polar
There must be something running in the background without you knowing..even mine with WiFi only drained about 2% per hour which means that even if i unplugged @12am fully charged, wake up in the morning @6am, still got 92% smile.gif...check if you are syncing stuff or not nod.gif

Added on March 9, 2011, 4:55 pmhey guys, can we really chase SGS laugh.gif
*
Your WiFi is turned on + connected ? Or it's just turned on but did not connect to any network? rclxub.gif I can't figure out which apps is the culprit, since It's kinda a freshly baked ARHD 3.0..

Should I try with ARHD 2.1? As I don't have ARHD 1.5/1.6 which is the legend of battery saver (not sure). laugh.gif cry.gif

ARHD 3.0 better use the 1.8x based radio...tested and the battery life is a lot better smile.gif
*
laugh.gif Okay.

I'm gonna re-flash the ROM again. Should I go for ARHD 3.0 or ARHD 2.1? By the way, anyone have ARHD 2.1 checksum ?

because I see polar got issues with battery life, the ADHD 3.0
and a lot of bugs for the ADHD 4.0
so I thought I use old version ~_~
*
Haha, maybe not cause of ARHD 3.0 also. Atsu using it, great battery life also thumbup.gif. 1 hour 1% with wifi on.

But not so lucky for me. I'll reflash again later and recalibrate, then reset my battery stats. See how it goes.
Waiting for full charge now.

Most of us use Radio for 1.72 base with ARHD 3.0... That why the battery not so nice since 3.0 is base on 1.84... The only radio for 1.84 is either TELUS or ORANGE radio... And now mike change the recommended radio mean something...

@polarzbearz

First day after flash 3.0 with battery stats wipe... i feel the battery drain so fast... but with the 2nd day i get 1.5% per hour... meaning it start to stable already....
*
hmm.gif That means I should wait and see how it goes first? Or just do the battery calibration trick without reflashing?

Since mine is only 18 hours after flashing (Flashed yesterday at 11pm++). laugh.gif

Try give it a day or two... If current widget say on idle ur DHD power consumption is around 3-5mAh... then i think it's good edi...

@tabs

Do you use stock radio or new one..? How the signal..? 1 or 2 bars...?
*
Well it depends. At first it's around 3-5mAh on Idle with WiFi connected. But sooner or later, it'll spike up to 60~70mAh and stays at that range...

Anyway , do you guys do flash "Full wipe 1.3" before flashing ROMs? I realised that I did not do that when I flash my ARHD from stock rom.. hmm.gif

When moving to new base it a good practice to do a full wipe... I always do a full wipe if the change is big...

Just boot to recovery and perform full wipe... that all...

It seem my battery take 6.6% per hour on mobile data...
*
No choice then, but to proceed with my plan laugh.gif

Full Charge > Full Wipe > Flash ARHD 3.0 > Reset Cache

Confirm full charge @ 4.2v with Current Widget > Reset Battery Stats (while its at peak of full charge @ 4.2v++) > proceed with my Battery Recalibration

HTC Thunderbolt = "4G / LTE" version of Desire HD isn't it?

And it won't work here, if I'm not mistaken.

Still it's an "uplifted" / "enhanced" version of Desire HD with verizon's logo with it tongue.gif

can u all slow down the process?
i have been reading quietly all the post until page 89 of v10 until i betahan and go click last page and found out v11 is available...=.=

i think i better read the FP and learn to root...
just few question before i root(i have read the FP)...
anything i nid to backup like stock rom,radio,kernal before i root?
temproot and permroot got what different?
both can unroot later on?(which i think i wont unroot later)...
*
I understand you mang.. I have to check back the thread every 2 hours at least, or else there'll be lots to catch up laugh.gif

You can't actually backup all those until you root smile.gif

Temproot only root the devices temporary till you restart the device (if I'm not mistaken) whereby permroot stays permanently even if you have restarted your device.

As for unrooting, there's the button to Unroot in the very same program (VISIONary+) smile.gif nod.gif

Fully charged @ 4.2v, now resetting dalvik cache, battery stats, full wiped and installing ARHD 3.0 again. Later gonna confirm full charge and wipe stats again, then drain the battery.

The clockwork recovery appears when I turn off my phone to charge. I wonder if it can charge in that mode or not rclxub.gif... need to ensure full charge

My battery usage log right after flashed + full wiped + reset battery stats. With only Current Widget installed.

Idle since 10pm to 11pm, WiFi Connected. Something must be draining my battery..

What i mention..?

@ykc

It seem Rom Manager hate you... But since you already do ENG S-Off... there is another way to flash CWM... But first you need to get your hand on CWM image...

Then you can use fastboot command similar to flashing radio...
*
Haha, just now I think it was you that mentioned your ARHD 3.0 have similar issues as well. Battery draining like hell on first ~ first 2 days of usage and then become low battery usage biggrin.gif
