QUOTE(tarbana90 @ Mar 12 2011, 05:25 PM) erm guys.. what is the average benchmark score for stock rom DHD? Mine is only 1390.. Does it vary with different devices? P.S Sorry.. im still really noob Actually it depend on kernel speed and the type of governor... Stock kernel using 1Ghz speed and ondemand governor (cant remember is it ondemand or something else)... Custom kernel can use speed above 1Ghz and performance governor... By average custom kernel with 1.2Ghz and performance governor can reach 2.5k score...

Edit : Erm syuki how bout making guide to flash back to stock rom as well? Cause i read back previous postings.. if we flashed into a different radio is it complicated to restore back the orginal? If the kernel is a undervolt one, there's no worry about shortening lifespan cause it does not add additional voltage. Only the overvolt kernels are the one you take risks of.

QUOTE(tarbana90 @ Mar 12 2011, 05:54 PM) oh.. undervolt means using the same voltage as stock rom will use? but the custom rom CPU will still run at a higher freq? which is >1ghz? The only reason to fear of overclocking shortening lifespan is cause overclocking usually ups the voltage to the processor, but that is only needed if you want drastic overclocking (eg. to 1.8ghz). Some kernels don't up the voltage, cause the overclocking done is usually minor (up to 1.5ghz), therefore even though overclocked its safe enough. Added on March 12, 2011, 5:58 pmQUOTE(polarzbearz @ Mar 12 2011, 05:57 PM) Calex Calex! Is flashing theme permanent? Easy to revert back to stock Sense or not? Helo Unfortunately its permanent, since those flashable themes actually overwrite the default programs (open the theme .zip and take a look). The only way back is via a nandroid backup. Fall asleep again just now while looking for nice wallies.. Happens to me before Oh one thing, for those Sense ROM themes, it actually just affects the default HTC theme, so the others (Slate, Wood) are still intact. Do note that any other stuff like themed facebook, themed youtube, fonts and stuff still remain.
