I'm in Busan now..it's windy over here. Those who's gonna come here for this month should really bring some windbreaker or sweater. I'm freezing at night. lol.

Refer to Wawasan-lah...Currently they are selling at 2.86
http://www.wawasanmoneychanger.com.my/exchangeRates.asp

However on Korean won, they are not the cheapest. From my survey, you can get atleast RM2.83 if you change ~ Ikano, Atria, & Bkt bintang area.

BTW, Market rate as per Bank Negara latest is at RM2.78. http://www.bnm.gov.my/statistics/exchangerates.php it's impossible getting this rate. Wth RM2.83 as the best benchmark Today, If you convert to US$ 1st & thereafter to Korean won, you will be getting slighty better at RM2.80-2.81 at Seoul..well..just a small token haha

haha you wrong liao lor...When you buy Korean Won, you suppose to look at Selling rate & not buying rate. Buying rate is when you come back from Korea & want to convert back to RM.

If buying rate in Kelantan ~ RM2.80, probably the selling rate there can be as high as RM2.95. smile.gif

Added on May 21, 2011, 8:32 pmDepending on you. bcos the margin you gain from converting to US4 & thereafter won is small...Well probably you gain ~ RM20-RM30 on every RM1000 the most by doing this way.. smile.gif

Hi guys

Ill be going on a backpacker trip alone to Korea this mid July;
Need some info while I'm in the process of planning my itinerary

1. I need to be connected 24/7, where can I rent a phone with unlimited 3G data surfing using the iPhone? Mainly use for navigation n informing family of my whereabouts.

2. I have 6 days: shud I head out of Seoul to other towns? If so, which town would u highly recommend?

3. Is traveling alone in Korea generally safe for a female?

4. Also is bus & transportation an issue? English signs available?

How do u guys navigate ur way in Korea? I heard that street names r all in Korean? No English letters?

Lastly; anyone going mid of July backpacking too? Don't mind a travel buddy

Cheers

my korean friend will be in July.. I am looking for a cheap airticket to be in SK in July.. So he can bring me to some special only korean local knowing places..haha..

Anyone know anyway got good budget price air tix to Korea? Budget not more than RM1.5k.. or RM1k even better..

Really so nice for such long duration in a country alone?!...Wonder how much i have to spent for a month in Korea.
