Sandisk highly recommended. Look for Class 6 (at least), or else CLass 10!

random thought: if you are given power to improve Nikon's next camera to replace D7000...code name: D7100...

most likely those already established dont need to change cams and are happy with their D300, D3 etc.

cropped sensor is not a con, depends on ur usage.
some who shoot sports or wildlife may prefer it more for instant telephoto.
i seen some using D7000, d300s or even canon 7d before...
imagine the FX users carrying a huge 300mm  f/2.8 lens, rather than a more compact 70-200 f/2.8 with same reach on DX.

Mine is turned on 24/7. I open it every 2-3 times per week just to circulate the air inside. And yes I do clean it once in a while .
