QUOTE(C_Sagi @ Mar 10 2011, 12:12 PM) Cool, is there a life span for drybox ? And is there a particular brand to recommend ? Or just about any is fine ? QUOTE Brand - Aipo/Sun-Dry/anything works. Sun-Dry gives technically lifetime warranty on their dehumidifier unit. Size - How much gear have you got? How much do you think you would buy in the future? If not much, a 38L +/- will do good enough. Price - Depends on size. A 38L +/- usually costs just over* RM 300. |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Mar 10 2011, 12:46 PM) im using aipo 38L, working fine. Using the 68L myself, few hundred differences nia can't help myself with the size difference if had more money sure i would go for the 68L one, so can put other stuff apart from cameras in it. Lucky I bought the 68L one, if I got myself the 48L I'm sure now I will need to upsize already Added on March 10, 2011, 1:10 pm QUOTE(C_Sagi @ Mar 10 2011, 12:12 PM) Cool, is there a life span for drybox ? Go for Aipo, lowest electricity consumption plus comes with a digital humidity meter compared to analog meters found in eureka/sun-dry And is there a particular brand to recommend ? Or just about any is fine ? 5 years warranty if not mistaken, but that's more than enough for a merely few hundred bucks stuff This post has been edited by edwardgsk: Mar 10 2011, 01:10 PM |

QUOTE(ezrasang @ Mar 10 2011, 10:46 AM) Ya. How much and what size you bought? By any chance you know the price of Extreme Class 10 for 16GB? QUOTE(celciuz @ Mar 10 2011, 11:01 AM) Mine is turned on 24/7. I open it every 2-3 times per week just to circulate the air inside. And yes I do clean it once in a while QUOTE(edwardgsk @ Mar 10 2011, 01:07 PM) Using the 68L myself, few hundred differences nia can't help myself with the size difference Just as I wanted to ask for dry-box recommendation, here comes the name of Aipo vs Sun-Dry/Eureka. I was told by a sales guy that Aipo using small power adapter like the one we used for handphones. He claimed that it'll easily get burned when switched on 24/7 and thus, he recommended Sun-Dry which uses power cord like our CPU.Lucky I bought the 68L one, if I got myself the 48L I'm sure now I will need to upsize already Added on March 10, 2011, 1:10 pm Go for Aipo, lowest electricity consumption plus comes with a digital humidity meter compared to analog meters found in eureka/sun-dry 5 years warranty if not mistaken, but that's more than enough for a merely few hundred bucks stuff So... Aipo still a better pick and any recommendation of place to get it? |

QUOTE(vearn27 @ Mar 10 2011, 01:19 PM) How much and what size you bought? By any chance you know the price of Extreme Class 10 for 16GB? My 68L 24/7 on for more than 1 year jor, still good. Aipo is only 5W, that's why it only need small adapter unlike Sun-dry 45W, who needs bigger adapter to drain more power lo. Just as I wanted to ask for dry-box recommendation, here comes the name of Aipo vs Sun-Dry/Eureka. I was told by a sales guy that Aipo using small power adapter like the one we used for handphones. He claimed that it'll easily get burned when switched on 24/7 and thus, he recommended Sun-Dry which uses power cord like our CPU. So... Aipo still a better pick and any recommendation of place to get it? Those words by that sales guy is because they wanna do business lah, Sun-dry cost low mah, if sell 1 can earn more than sell Aipo Added on March 10, 2011, 1:44 pmOii agito your new siggy damn disturbing leh, can I ask moderator come nuke?
