QUOTE(ljf123 @ Mar 5 2011, 07:09 PM) Palermo Playmaker Javier Pastore Agent Finalising A Deal With Manchester United - Report
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Manchester United are closing in on a deal for Palermo's Argentine international Javier Pastore.... By Andrew McLean
According to reports in Argentina, Palermo's Javier Pastore is on the verge of joining Manchester United.
Local media in Cordoba, where the Argentine international was born, are suggesting that Pastore's agent Marcelo Simonen is currently finalising a deal for his client to move to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils would be willing to pay €40 million for the 21-year-old, according to Radio Event. Rumours previously suggested that Sir Alex Ferguson would make his move for the highly rated Rosanero star, despite officials of the Sicilian club making it clear that Pastore was a key member of the squad.
United, however, will have a battle on their hands from Barcelona, who travelled to Italy to discuss a verbal agreement with Palermo to unite Pastore with fellow countryman Lionel Messi. But no signed agreement was made by the Blaugrana officials, leaving Manchester United free to pursue their target.
Pastore joined Palermo in 2009 and his performances were rewarded with a place in the Argentina squad in the 2010 World Cup.

QUOTE(kamkamparadise @ Mar 5 2011, 07:16 PM) wow. so sudden. i don't know whether to believe it or not since Pastore himself said he won't be moving anywhere soon as he look to establish himself further before moving to bigger clubs. Plus Palermo chief said he reluctant to sell Pastore. He is a good and promising player. almost like Aimar and Riquelme type. if he does move to Old Trafford, i really hope he can fit quickly in English Football. by the way, Agger, Aurelio and Meireles are back in the contention to face us. things not looking good at the moment for us. sosat this point of the season in football in general, all can be dismissed as rumours.no need to believe anything. we wont buy some one in a publicly claimed way and rarely have done so ever since weve sold ronaldo..

All 3 Argies had a good spell with us. It's just unfortunate circumstances that made them leave.

QUOTE(nazq @ Mar 5 2011, 11:17 AM) Berba can become a good playmaker. If he did that, people would be complaining that he's not scoring 50 goals a season and that he sucks. QUOTE(nizamhameed @ Mar 5 2011, 11:24 AM) i am gonna buy this jersey.... I was planning to buy one for next season. I sure hope it looks good so I won't have to change my mind. Looks the same as this one. http://www.epltalk.com/manchester-united-h...ked-photo-28141Been making the rounds for quite some time. QUOTE(nazq @ Mar 5 2011, 01:39 PM) For me the best AIG shirt is during 06/07 season, both home and away. I prefer the older jerseys than the current one right now, too bad money doesn't allow to buy it yet. I second that!! The 06/07 jersey really has grown on me.

It's just unfortunate circumstances that made them leave. this the reason they became judas because of attitude, not performance-wise. they are still performing very good at Man Utd. ketchup dude, Tevez, and maybe even Veron. anyway, the Kolo Toure situation is kinda funny but i sympathize him. because of his wife's diet pills, he's going to be suspended from football? kinda harsh on him, coming from a devout Muslim.

Pity it was not the right time to be brought into United team during that time where Keano, Scholesy, Beckham, Butt is at the peak of their careers. I just hope we could create that midfield again.

Veron is simply because he doesnt suit us, i dont think him moving to Chelsea have anything to do with wanna join rivals to spite us (i believe that is Peter Kenyon's fault ) Though if that Messi dude wanna come over then i can close one eye This post has been edited by pyroboy1911: Mar 5 2011, 09:16 PM

Ferdinand's suspension comes to mind...Way more harsh compared to Toure's situation imo

QUOTE(odieseven @ Mar 5 2011, 08:27 PM) All 3 Argies had a good spell with us. It's just unfortunate circumstances that made them leave. except for Veron i guess although he had his great moments such as that goal against Bolton and Everton. too bad he never quite settled at Old Trafford. As for Tevez and Heinze, they played for us quite well. Always giving 100% during game. Wenger revealed that Kolo Toure had a problem with his weight which lead him to take his wife's diet pill which contain a banned substance. pity for him. he's not the kind of guy who would do something like that.
