QUOTE(Pain_X @ Mar 4 2011, 12:34 AM) Lol smart, ask a random question so can be in first page Ill join in : Second half v Chelsea Fletcher didnt look very good. Quite a few misplaced crosses and passes. I feel he's been trying too hard lately to do Scholes-esque like passes, not good for his game. actually that would describe how Carrick is. i have been very very frustrated with his performances whenever he starts. so yes his % of passes is high, but its all short passes. not long passes. not like the ones how he used to do.

QUOTE(SGSuser @ Mar 4 2011, 12:42 AM) but his defensive awareness and positioning has been excellent..high number of interceptions, especially in Europe..though may lose concentration at times yeah he makes up for his unbelievable ball control and passing for his positioning. so far it has been this way for every starts he has been in. he somehow manages to intercepts balls, but only fails to deliver it properly.

QUOTE(Pain_X @ Mar 4 2011, 12:58 PM) I too prefer schweinsteiger and im 100% positive that SAF has the money to spend. The only problem is that i think Bayern will probably want at least 40 mil for him. On top of that, the German league is on the up now and he may even want to stay in germany. We missed out on Ozil who has turned into a very good player but i think there was a point right after the WC when he himself said that he wants to play for RMad. Eventhough Sneijder is class,he's mainly an AM and if we were to accommodate him in our team,we would have to sacrifice one of the defensive midfielders or a winger. Besides, the fella has turned us down a few times already.. 40 mil for someone who's about to reach 27, not that much of an investment isn't it?

Kolo Toure failed a drugs test huh. if it proves to be true, kinda embarrassing for the muslim footballers in the UK.

QUOTE(odieseven @ Mar 5 2011, 08:27 PM) All 3 Argies had a good spell with us. It's just unfortunate circumstances that made them leave. this the reason they became judas because of attitude, not performance-wise. they are still performing very good at Man Utd. ketchup dude, Tevez, and maybe even Veron. anyway, the Kolo Toure situation is kinda funny but i sympathize him. because of his wife's diet pills, he's going to be suspended from football? kinda harsh on him, coming from a devout Muslim.

QUOTE(SGSuser @ Mar 5 2011, 09:30 PM) Ferdinand's suspension comes to mind...Way more harsh compared to Toure's situation imo that one was worse and uncalled for. maybe it's Man City's turn? I don't know. not that I do like these kind of situations to occur.

QUOTE(kiasunkiasi @ Mar 5 2011, 10:42 PM) I don't buy this kind of shit, come on, how the hell did his wife's diet pill's ingredient (we are talking about amount that can become traceable) getting into his body? lol what's your question? how did it get into his body? he consumed the pills as well. how did it get traced? ask the doping people.

QUOTE(kiasunkiasi @ Mar 5 2011, 10:58 PM) Ok, consumption of his wife's pills answered my question, but as mentioned by mhyug, it would be his fault for taking any pill without consultation with team medic expert. So he has to be responsible for his action... yeah i guess it's partially his fault. but who knew a harmless diet pill has such substance? lol.

QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Mar 6 2011, 12:36 AM) Mignolet saved nasri's FK, Chamakh had a header hit the bar, its all Arsenal's way now. and it looks like a ticking time bomb, just a matter of time before Arsenal scores 1 if Sunderland did not maintain calm and weather the Arsenal storm oh psh, Sunderland will self destruct.

as for the Anfield game, awal saya cakap ha, anything can happen. win lose draw. Liverpool right now are as unpredictable as Wolves. they can go bottom, but they could actually win it somehow somewhere.
motivated by a hunger to win under Dalglish and to bounce back from their loss, gee wiz it's gonna be a hard battle, with Vidic out even.

but to be fair though, Szczecny played well, and Mignolet was unbelivable. not bad that young Belgian keeper.
