generally our midfielders have been underperforming, including fletcher and your beloved carrick

but he has done well last 2 games, even against chelsea imo he did well

but his defensive awareness and positioning has been excellent..high number of interceptions, especially in Europe..though may lose concentration at times

for the midfielder thing, I suppose it's only a matter of time for SAF to bring in new faces if our midfield doesn't improve..We still have one gem at Wigan, hopefully next season he can bring something different to the team..we'll just have to rely on Scholesy atm since Ando is injured(again)..make full use of what we have

ps : agree with the post regarding Gibbo, time is still on his side, for now..

don't forget we have Welbeck and Macheda on loan, so I think strikers department more than enough
