Guys, we really should have separate threads for this phone. One to cover flashing and rooting and other hardcore stuff (gosh, somehow this line sounds dirty), and another for random the "casual" stuff.

I downloaded ROM manager from the market, i pressed flash clockworkmod recovery, then i press backup rom, why it takes forever to back up?

You need to boot into bootloader - recovery manually..then it will backup for you...dunno it's RM bug or what.

hi guys, i would like to download the htc's maps....but the server response very slow.
do you know where i can download online (instead from the phone)?

Install via ROM Manager failed - didn't tick the Wipe option thou..got into bootloop...need time to look into it cos dunno what's wrong.

Yes, it will backup all ..but for security reason, better backup your apps/data using either Titanium backup or MyBackupRoot

Can't really comment on this as i like all 3 ...battery life now ARHD & LeeDroid is almost the same, as for CoreDroid, i might want to test out the latest 3.2 ..customization & a lot of themes, ARHD wins in this part...regularly update, i think ARHD & LD got the same time range/frame...


Anyway, quite a boring day today as i dun have anything to do except just sit in office and help the secretary with some typing

Hi Guys, I have a HTC Desire HD and i have noticed randomly turns the display on (screen is still locked) and then after a few seconds turn off all without touching the phone...

Can someone please help with this

Comp tech...well, my Supervisor got 'mogok' today..didn't come to work and took all the keys (except for the server room where i am now )..nothing to do as can't open any of the rooms that i supposed to supervise

after i lock the screen right the screen suddenly turn on by itself ( but still in lock mode) for few second.. i try to restart and uninstall tap tap but still the same.. any idea?

Any apps running in the background when you lock the screen??
