hmmm, how to flash clockworkmod for official 2.2 froyo ar ? DXJPE

Froyo its too slow for me..and the main problem is battery drainage..drops like water pipe..and I experienced alot FC when I use launcherpro on startup..guess i will go back to eclair..I find no reason to continue using Froyo..well maybe the browser which support flash?? but the square square pixels really = =!!

Are you in the right thread? Coz this is the first time I heard someone complaining about Froyo. Most of us using or used LP and no major complain so far, and the only reason we flashed to eclair is for the 2E recovery.

where to get CF-Root for DXJPA ?

You can read the first post. A lot of information in there and basically if from stock rom and have 3 button mode fixed, you can....
1) Flash kernel using Odin
2) Flash full custom ROM using Odin
3) Use superoneclick software

to get the root function

what launcher do you guys recommend? launcherpro performs very well in eclair but not in froyo..everytime i start my device it hangs and then have to forceClose =( and the scrolling in app menu is noticeable slow compare to eclair

which froyo firmware you're talking bout?

hmmm... js8.. did you try to factory reset?

you mention many force close right? i recommend you to fresh install the froyo rom, something conflict occur in system, that's why you encounter many force close

wiped everything..cache..dalvik cache..factory reset..it still happens when I start my froyo device..it hangs and when i try to slide it..it vibrates..and then need to force close..not only JS8..before JS8 i had JS3 JS5 and JS7..all the same..it happens only on launcherpro..I tried GoLauncher but everything is fine..no FC on startup even I slide it when its loading

seems like it.. launcherpro is not compatible with it.. there are users having problem with launcherpro.. fc as what you have said..

maybe you should consider adwlauncher ex if you don't need launcherpro's widgets

which version you using ? try download it from the market, mine works with Official 2.2

nothing to do with the version i guess..it runs perfectly on my previous eclair using the same apk..0.8.3..but when it comes to froyo..geezz..slow scrolling..FCs alot = = what launcher do you guys use?

dxjpe is the update to dxjpa

DXJPE is newer. No visible difference.
