Evening guys, what is the average price of both D&G and Evisu Denims in Malaysia? Currently, I'm studying in the UK, and I would like to be aware of the difference in price in both countries and compare before making any impulsive purchase
Thanks ! |

Proper stitching, correct tags, no mispellings - and most of all, indigo looks about right. Genuine to me.

but
1. the backstitching looks different from how it looks like normally, this one a bit messy and have a wider joining in the six strings 2. the rivet feels plasticky in the inside part 3. the pocket printing is faded a bit 4. the tag written with the serial code does not contain the material information is it considered authentic? because it looks different from another and does nudie jeans have a different backstitching from season to season? thanks |

QUOTE(kevin190791 @ Nov 16 2011, 10:40 AM) but expect inconsistency in the denim work coz these are made by hand, not machine. This pair is authentic and u can see it from the indigo dye and the pocket print especially the organic series are mostly has that faded look on it. I've own nudies from the selvage to the heavy denim to the organic cotton ones before and I've seen all these. I've seen fake ones too and they are not made as good as the authentic ones. So dont worry too much and just break in the denim =)1. the backstitching looks different from how it looks like normally, this one a bit messy and have a wider joining in the six strings 2. the rivet feels plasticky in the inside part 3. the pocket printing is faded a bit 4. the tag written with the serial code does not contain the material information is it considered authentic? because it looks different from another and does nudie jeans have a different backstitching from season to season? thanks |

QUOTE(kevin190791 @ Nov 16 2011, 11:07 AM) but i have seen also a very well built fake before backstitching is bad? hahaha.... ive seen fake backstitching worse than it is.... note that the fake backstitching is very uneven thus u see some of the gaps becomes too narrow or too wide....95% similar to the authentic but it is a fake i dont really concer much but the backstitching is awful mustn't the designer care about this signature backstitching? it is a trademarked stitching that should look the same in every jeans, considering this is a designer's jeans i should have just bought an apc instead of this one thing about the fake is the chainstitching on the end of the legs end up on the left... yours is on the right which pretty much says its original.... left is fake, the right one is original ![]() ![]() ![]() *gotta give credits to kaskus forum for the pics.... Can't imagine someone in italy having to sew that logo by hand. haha.anyway, here's my reference. edit: no idea why the video is not appearing. here's the link: nudie jeans This post has been edited by CasaNova™: Nov 16 2011, 07:26 PM |

Can't imagine someone in italy having to sew that logo by hand. haha. i beg to differ again lol hehehe i've seen an older video back in 2008 where they actually show the process of how they stitch the embo on the back pocket...they move the pocket under the machine to shape the pattern with hand while the machine is only used to stitch in the thread...thus it is still considered as hand made since the shaping of it is still done by hand....anyway, here's my reference. edit: no idea why the video is not appearing. here's the link: nudie jeans and speaking of fakes that is why i stop with all the nudies...so many fakes...lol go japanese all the way! hehehee |
