worn my rrl raw jeans almost 8 month and thinking want to wash it.

can anyone guide me how to wash it?

just throw em into the washing machine and wash mate =)

I don't have a specific method. First I don'turn the jeans inside out. All I do is just soak it in the bucket for couple of times . After that i turn the jeans inside out , then soak with anti bacteria detergent for half an hour to an hour inside the bucket. Throw away the water and get a new water for a last soak before air dry in the sun.

That's about it. I don't prefer to dry spin all my jeans.

I'm new to this. Been reading this thread for awhile but i'm still confuse. I think i kinda got the selvedge part but..
How do we know the jeans is Raw? Does Levi's or Topman have Raw jeans?
I read about Levis 501 shrink to fit. What's the diff? is it Raw selvedge as well?

I'm assuming all the normal 501,512 levis jeans are pre -washed.
unsanforized and sanforized??

Appreciate it if someone could help me understand more. hehe

those jeans without artificial whiskers, fades are raw..
Levis 501 shrink fit is a Levis branded jeans with their "501 style (the cutting and the button fly" that had been shrunk thus the size wont change,

this give no extra information whether it is a raw or selvedge

sanforized is a patented method of shrinking

do correct me if i get anything wrong

I hand wash my raws. I am too enthusiastic to treat my selvedge jeans like everyday items

But nothing would have prepared me for the amount of indigo (and dirt) that came off. Inside out, outside in. Gentle brush with a soft brush to get dirt off, especially near the ankles. Even more so if you cuff em like me.
