Shucks, i envy you man. I still have to endure another few weeks before I get my car. Your GTI is 2010 stock? Yeah, I guess i will still stick to the 1000km rule and run in the engine properly despite people telling me that its not necessary. Anyway, I agree that GTI is meant to be revved. There is really no point in buying a GTI if you hardly want to take it above 2000rpm. Might as well just buy a smooth sailing boring sedan like camry.
*
Yup ... 2010 stock. I'd rather get the discount and lower interest rate than wait for the 2011 car. Also, will use the money I saved to buy the mods that I want.

hajicrespo ... Not really that interested in 18" rims cause I feel I'm quite ok with GTI's ride now ... if I go to 18" the ride will suffer and I don't think I can tahan it, me orang tua already lah.

I'm more interested with mods that will improve the handling of the GTI such as a rear sway bar or maybe autofoaming the frame.

However for now ... going for poser mode and getting the rear LED lights brows.gif

@Wira
I simply love the looks of detroits. But 17" Denver is also nice btw. Polishing job will make ur Denver look like detroits is nicer I must say.

Oh, At least the RCD 510 and u'll be forever in love wif ur car! I got the RNS 510 instead rclxm9.gif

So no one care to share with me the FC for GTI?

And no one else interested in the bulk?
*
My FC as stated earlier also was on normal drive (Max only hitting 4-5k rpm at certain times). So 10KM/L is pretty average comparing some of the stats given out.

Been using my polo for 4 months now. Buy. Lately ive been dissapointed with the absorber quality. I think it is too soft and cornering not so sharp. I know maybe the setup for comfort but lately i feel like its not good enough(i dunno why i didnt notice this earlier when i got the car). Any other polo owners feel the same??its like u have a very fast car but not good at handlinh corners...

Any sifu out there can recommend something to improve this?
*
Polo consider fast for a car at that size but when you mention handling ain't good....bare in mind that the car does only comes with a 15" rims. Max speed I go with Polo is 197 km/h...but once I attack take corner at 90 km/h, tyres start to squel. It's a small tyres bro...

Yes I love the detroits too and they look absolutely gorgeous on the GTI. How much did you have to top up to change from denver to detroits? Also, how much did you paid for your RNS? I'm planning to get it too.

What is the best deal for 2010 GTi?  2% off and 0.5% interest rate?

2011 model comes with front and back LED light?
*
The current best deal for 2010 GTi is RM4,000 discount, free 2 services and low interest rate at 0.5% for 3 years, 1.21% for 5 years, 1.54% for 7 years and 1.73% for 9 years. Went to VW Glenmarie and the malay SC told me of this promotion.

2011 model only comes with front DRL.

Very much indeed...I'll surely put my booking on the Polo GTi since it may comes with the 17" Denver rims like I saw the pics in the net.

yes indeed the silver part is also painted/machined not so sure of the right word. this color is similar to 18" detroits mk6, while the mk5 on 18" detroits have dark gray on the inside
side by side comparison 17" denver vs 18" detroits

i remember you doing for rm600 am i right?  hmm.gif
