The iPod/iPhone MDI cable charges my iPhone 4 perfectly fine, and I can control my playlist using the steering wheel controls. Note this is on the RCD510. I also need to upgrade my firmware to resolve on small issue (track changing there is a slight pause between songs but with the new firmware the change is smoother) but other than that, everything works fine with the iPhone 4

Added on March 27, 2011, 7:50 pmWell it depends on where you get the rims from. Wearnes in Ampang are selling them with your car, same for FA Wagen who also let you upgrade them to Denver or ABT rims for the TSI. If you get it from they will still honor your warranty if you service with them

Where did you buy your cable ? online ? I still haven't got to buying it. FA wanna charge 300+ for that cable.
It should work fine with RCD310 too right ?

aarrrghh just found out my scirocco don't have the dynamic bending swivel light (for cornering) like my golf tsi.. and also another feature is the tilting side mirrors (when parking)...

just read in the website the curb view shud b present in both golf & rocco... mmm.. mayb mine defective ? gotta go back n chk tomolo... coz when i engage - R.. it doesn't tilt down (comparing with my golf which does that immediately)

the dynamic swivel cornering light don't hav.. rocco 2.0 and 1.4 oso don't hav (fr brochure)

opps cud b my mistake.. just found the function in the manual .. under "mirror down". let me go out n test it then let u know whether is that the function for the curb view..

For Gti, the passenger mirror does not automatic tilt down when you engange the reverse gear. To activate it, the switch knob to adjust the side mirror, must be placed at L position. Of course, this only works after you activated the function in the MFD

Can get from some of the rim shops. 16" Atlanta rims are hard to sell because of the PCD setting

has dynamic swivel cornering light lo... when you turn your steering wheel, depends on which direction you turn, the swivel light will come on right?

Added on March 27, 2011, 10:59 pmtat is not swivellight lah .. that is just the cornering light. The swivel light thingy is the main headlights will swivel when you go into the corner. too bad they left out this feature in the Scirocco ...

oh really? so for both the golf the lights will swivel ah? so cool... is it noticeable?

not sure abt the Golf GTI .. but the Golf TSI has it.. and yes it's very noticeable... esp when it's a dark corner.. u will c the headlight bending and shining on the road as opposed to shining on the barrier /curb
