I saw in the other forums, people were selling from RM2500 (just the rims alone) to around RM4500 with tyres. But most of them are outdated (the WTS posts)

Went to have a look at the so-called "GTi KILLER", Mazda 3 MPS today. Didn't really impress me. Other than a bigger engine which produces more power and torque, I don't see any other plus points. Ooops... there is one, the price RM180k, 'so cheap'! The exterior is still ok lah, with a big scoop in front, big rims with low profile tyres, twin exhaust. But the interior is just typical mazda 3. Nothing to shout about. No leather seat, no eletric seat, the panels are all plastic. The clutch of the manual tranny is quite hard, need to stomp on it. I think I prefer our DSG more. Or is it just me getting lazier by the minute.    All I can say is, I've no regrets not waiting for this to get launched and got the GTi instead.

Yeah got them installed earlier today

Today is a sad day. I just scrapped my virgin GTi on a wall when I was squeezing through a tight angle. When I heard the sound of it hitting against the wall, my heart sank. Now my front left side of my bumper... got scar liao. Luckily my fog lamp was spared. Can't stop blaming myself for being so clumsy n for the poor judgement. How much is it to replace the front bumper ah?

which one is heavier.. the 18" detroits or the 17" denvers?

Can't be helped mah, coz for the Roc its a 2 door car so more emphasis on the front passengers. Hence no rear air cond vents and rear cup holders as well

Wow, pretty closed to my 1.4 roc. my avg was 10.5 km/litre. after stage 1 and full exhaust mod.

not sure abt the Golf GTI .. but the Golf TSI has it.. and yes it's very noticeable... esp when it's a dark corner.. u will c the headlight bending and shining on the road as opposed to shining on the barrier /curb

problem is buying rims not from shop .... so hard to trade lah ...  havent decided wat rims yet.. still surveying... bbs, caractere ...    not sure which will suit my dark color scirocco best ... regretted spraying my 17" phoenix matte black.. now my car at night looks so dark...

Wow... RON97... And the FC above is for 90% City 10% Highway I suppose?

If I ever get GTI, think I am gonna run it on RON95 also... 97 way too expensive for me yet... And as long as FC will be like mentioned above 10-11 KM/L for city driving I will be happy I suppose, same like my Civic but with a lot more power.

Which app is that if you don't mind sharing I am trying out Fuel Log now but seems a little complicated for me

Saw this last week too when I did my service. Only the front passenger and driver seat look ok..the rear seats totally gone 

Dunno what's the point of bringing it back there

yup .. but that's exactly my predicament... i've became too closed to both SC Service Managers / advisors... so hard to complain to their management since so buddy buddy ..      they are always very frenly to me, belanja minum, go yamcha etc... and still attend to my car just that each time not 100% resolved. so wasted a lot of time goin back and leaving the car there ....

so gud n bad... ... gud is my HU player.. they can help kaotim...  tat's the trade off...
