Hi there, I got a problem with my phone home button. The button seems like 'sink' into the phone. When I press it, it dint function. I need to press it very very hard and deep then only it works.

May I know if this is a common problem for iPhone 4? Where can get it fix? How much will the 'fix' cost? Thx.
*
Its a common problem for iphone 4. You can claim for warranty if its still under warranty or just get it repaired in hp shops. I can help you if you need assistance. Other questions related to it please post at the abve given link.

base on my experience i shall say maxis is the easiest telco to claim warranty..n the place to get fastest replacement unit for it is maxis klcc..  nod.gif
*
Totally agree with greenlp_87, maxis klcc would be the best outlet to go as their service there is way better than others. make maxis sunway prymid the last.(very bad service) tongue.gif

I see. Must have this card for warranty claim?
*
You must have the service card to claim warranty but some has managed to claim warranty even w/out the service card.( By identifying the imei no) They were lucky i guess. smile.gif

Most of the home button issues is cost by hardware failure. The part that need to be replaced is called membrane switch or some may called it home flex.

Recalibrating does not work. smile.gif

*
Is should be same. Like what greenlp_87 said, it depends on your home button usage . smile.gif

thanks. do they normally repair on the spot or have to leave the phone there?

if leave there, then have to get a spare phone to use.  hmm.gif
*
They do not repair on the spot. Normally it takes between 7-14 days to get replacement. Do a backup and restore the unit back if its JB before sending in. smile.gif

Depends on how severe it is. If you say it only works 1 out of 10 times , i think they will replace.
