Some Malaysian people need it fast to show it off.

yup.. when ipad 2 reach malaysia, then 3-4 months again ipad 3 announced, so keep waiting ?

iPad 3 won't be so fast ,by end of year only iPhone 5 will show up or ipod devices maybe ,cos iOS 4.3 will stay for while .

Keep waiting and you will got nothing.

1st Rule of buying a gadget: you will never own any gadget if keep on waiting for the "better" next gen to come out. 2nd rule: There will be new generation come out every year that's how they earn money. 3rd rule: people who change their gadget for every new launch is OWNED by the gadget instead of owning it.

For me the reason i want to get ipad 2 is that i dont own any ipad thats why im getting one soon. Is there any apps that good for photo editing in ipad?

so fast sudah iPad 2.. Actually I think the cover was pretty slick.. It can prevent scrates and stuff and I prefer the design than the 1st gen, looks as though it will feel more comfortable when holding it if you ask me.. But, the price is OMG.. And I think its abit erm.. wastefull if you take Apple gaming thing too seriously.. They upgrade their things too fast... And I dun think many can keep up with it.. But, I love web borwsing using their tablet.. Very convenient indeed..

I think it's hard for me to keep my resolution of 2 apple stuff per year. Last year already busted it with 1 iPad & 2 X iP4. This year already had new Macbook Air, so it's either iPad2 or iP5.

UK sells one of the most expensive Apple products in the world, good luck! Their price of current iPad 1 around Rm2.2k, can get almost 2 in Malaysia which is only Rm1199 each now

with the current exchange rate actually USA is even cheaper.

I am looking at what kind of important/daily used apps/activities which must working under ipad 2.

Else the reason for the upgrade is plainly Showing off...

I feel the thickness looks pretty the same only curves in instead of solid edges.. the weight doesn't decrease much based on the documentation.

Don't really feel safe with the smart cover design. What if the whole thing drop on the floor. Better get folio style still.

If anyone don't have an ipad before, this is the right one.
Look at the unibody macbook family sleekness, the design remain the same until today.

I hope to see what are the interesting apps which really need multi-core to run.

Even new android tabs are now shipped with multi core (tegra2). I'm pretty sure apps & games developers will leverage on it to create features & functionalities that attracts.

well i think if you dont use it so much for the games, the processing power of ipad1 will be sufficient to run the things i use it most. watching a video with vlc, music, surfing, email, reading.

the big catch for me was the camera. FACE TIME ON THE IPAD looks really nice!!

hmm facetime?

well i fully understand the need for wifi on ipod touch 4g for facetime..

but its a little ridiculous that i need to use wifi to use facetime =s

given that the image is in hd.. but still right? sorta defeats the purpose...

anyhow... im sure many apple enthusiasts would have seen the video of Steve Job in failing on the facetime during a conference lol

it doesnt get anymore epic than that...
they should give users the options to use facetime on their 3G network..
IF they overuse their data.. so be it.. but at least consumers will have a choice

i agree wit your point. But mayb for apple think that worldwide 3G network is still not guarantee on the speed, rather that let user to use on something not guarantee thing or better let user only use in WIFI connection which much more consistent and more speed.

Anyways, I think the Garage Band would surely benefit from Dual core...
