720P doesnt mean it's high megapixels, it's only 1280*720 pixels

Dun worry, I think iPad 2 in Malaysia won't delay till so long.. I am betting April-May...

The reason why the first iPad wasn't brought in so fast is probably the concerns of a totally new type of product and they're considering the sales of it in Malaysia as well... Remember iPhone 3GS n iPhone 4? it was only 5 months in between lol...

If you really need one, then just get the iPad1 because I am guessing malaysia need to wait at least until april-may to have it, if u wanna wait, means that you don't really need one... Hmm make sense? Besides, the old one now selling for rm1199, the new one probably around rm1549... there's still a price difference..

If you're a garage band user and make/record music, or wanna edit videos/movies on the go, then wait for the new iPad.. these usage would definitely benefit from the dual core processor...

Garage Band is one of the best, if not the best amateur recording softwares out there... You can see tons of the youtube singers using garageband, part of the reason is because it's so easy to use, free, the functions also much better than any windows recording software I have encountered before.. I am even thinking to jump to OSX for the sake of Garageband last time hahah.. To think that now it's available on the iPad2, you can imagine the number of ppl who make music would all be buying it now...

i think he meant someone doing BULK from USA...

HAHA, are you one of those parents who force their child to use Apple Mac? I have heard some and seen a few at Mobile computing section, didn't know they really existed LOL.. It's high maintainence yo if your child is poisoned by Apple products

If you say UK, u're better off getting a grey set in LYP... UK has one of the most expensive Apple products.. the old iPad is selling for around Rm2.2k over here...

why dun new set, it's only RM1199 now.. I doubt anyone would wanna sell theirs less than RM1k, I am sure they got it for a much higher price.. and u won't wanna buy a 2nd hand for rm1000 when new one is just rm200 diff

UK sells one of the most expensive Apple products in the world, good luck! Their price of current iPad 1 around Rm2.2k, can get almost 2 in Malaysia which is only Rm1199 each now

iPad --> iPad 2 upgrade is showoff,

But not owning an iPad before, getting it now, I think it's a good purchase...

Anyways, I think the Garage Band would surely benefit from Dual core...

I think it's because they wanna make it exclusive for newer products... Just like multi-tasking not available on iPhone 3G

Being lighter is a good enough reason for some ppl I think if they hold it as an e-Book for reading... 200 ounces make a whole lot of difference, it's around 90grams..

If you wanna edit movies on the go, iMovies is only available on iPad2 and the dual core processor would benefit a lot...

If you have a lot of frens n family using mac/iphone4, facetime is sure useful.. Better alternative to skype I guess...

I wonder how Garage Band on iPad 1 performs though... Probably not as smooth as iPad2 I am guessing, because even loading some musical instruments on iPad2 takes a few seconds...

Other than these, I would only imagine some high end graphic games would only be available on the iPad2?

Well... I still can't find a significant use of an 3G iPad very much... Do you?

If I bring an iPad out, I would probably be using it at Uni library, starbucks etc... All these places got Wifi...

Lets say you need a GPS and you need to check the map in the middle of the street, or in the car... Well in this case, I could bare with my iPhone... In the streets, ppl can easily grab it from you and run away.. Especially in 3G deprived areas, it would bound to be useless with GPRS connections, talk about extra internet plans per month...
