QUOTE(benny888 @ Mar 4 2011, 04:18 PM) No. International warranty only apply if it is similarly available here. Unless you have friend in Apple reseller who is willing to do it for you unofficially. hm? means even if i buy from US, i cannot send back to US for warranty? If even malaysia is selling ipad in another 6 months time, then?I still cant send to malaysia?

If even malaysia is selling ipad in another 6 months time, then?I still cant send to malaysia? Of course you can send it back to usa. You have to bear to and return courier cost Malaysia only process international units warranty if it is officially available not when it is expected to be available. It cannot be processed simply because the product is lock out from the service system Added on March 4, 2011, 5:19 pmQUOTE(Reventon @ Mar 4 2011, 05:11 PM) i wanna ask if US ipad 2 3G model is it unlocked set ? maybe going to get one set from US soon but wonder if it is locked to AT&T or Verizon. News is it is unlock. When launch just go to att website to check and you have immediate answer. I think verizon is cdma not gsm version This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 4 2011, 05:19 PM

Hoping that it'll reach Singapore shores sometime April! Is the warranty be applicable if I buy from there? As in, can we liaise/claim with Apple Malaysia should there's anything wrong with the unit itself.

Reventon : excerpt from http://www.ismashphone.com/2011/03/ipad-2-...ent-models.htmlWell now that the iPad 2 is official, we can know what exactly is going on, and the reality may not be as convenient as we'd hoped. The CDMA/GSM chipset is not happening this time around, as it seems that the iPad 2 3G is coming in two separate models one for AT&T's GSM network and another for Verizon's CDMA powered network.
It's shown through the tech specs on Apple's website under the device's weight and 3G section. The AT&T model will weigh 1.35 pounds, and the Verizon model will weigh 1.34 pounds. The difference in weight is insignificant, but this contradicts all the past rumors we heard of the iPad being compatible across both carriers with a single dualmode chipset. This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 4 2011, 06:37 PM

Guys please read posts just a few up. Very clearly mention about warranty. If you buy from usa handle warranty yourself. It has nothing to do with whether it has 3g or not.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Mar 4 2011, 11:17 PM) order from us store with us credit card and deliver to us address sometimes you just need to put the US delivery address as your CC billing address. Works for me all the time. For US address, there's vpost. This post has been edited by Mackiddo: Mar 5 2011, 09:41 AM
