Hey guys... it's been 4 weeks (28 days) since my 'possible' exposure (received unprotected blowjob and had protected insertive vaginal sex with an escort). Today I went to a BP Healthcare and asked for HIV testing. The person in charge told me it's normally 1, 3 or 6 months for testing. Will receive the results after 1 week. After taking my blood sample, I saw 'Anti-HIV 1 & 2' written on the receipt's description.

What I would like to know is, is this the same test as the 4th gen test ? Can it detect HIV as early as 28 days and is it accurate or conclusive ?
Or should I get tested for full STDs as well to be sure ?

Note: the immediate next day after the sex, I had fatigue, waking up with dry/sore throat and dry/numb tongue, dizziness, so I went googling the symptoms of early hiv and I think I had anxiety for around 1-2 weeks about HIV, but the more I searched the more I realised how low is the chances of getting HIV with a condom on, so to erase my anxiety, I decided to still do a test just incase... I mean I still have fatigue and dizziness until now, but now that I think of it, it could be my bppv (vertigo) coming back again

Your sister having oral or genital herpes?

For oral herpes, doctor will say no need take medicine as it’s too common.

She went already, in the end got other anti viral medication.
Regardless of oral or genital, will still need to take medication yea.
