It's normal. Different ppl react differently. You'll already know this if you had read the previous posts. I personally had various reactions to it - no period for a month, period came few days later, period came few days later for 2 weeks straight non stop, menstrual cycle as usual like nothing happen, slight spottings - had also checked with gynaes and pharmacists, all of them say it's normal.

none that I know....well so far no one has ever complained that it doesn't work...

How long have you been waiting for the next period to come after the dosage of postinor2?
i have been using postinor for abt 5 times, each time my period will come within 7days, but for this time it has been 11days dy and still no sympthons of menstruation...is this normal? kinda worry the postinor fail me this time...since i had intercouse during my 'dangerous period'

wow thats a lot. i took postinor 2 , right after intercourse or at least within 72 hours. first pill, and then after 12 hours take another 1 pill.
and thats it.

do not take everytime u have period coz its for EMERGENCY not for birthcontrol. the pharmacist also said, one box for 1 month. do not take more than 2 pills in a month.

yea, in some cases, it might mess up with our period time, if u worried ur period come way too late, use pregnancy test

Well there is no scientific proof or fact to support this. but then it is up to each individual way to perceive the information. But one thing for sure, u take the pills tomoch u will just screw up ur period cycle. if you and sexually active, i would suggest to go for Birth control pills. there is more pro to cons in tat.

i do agree that is alot to consume the ECP. well what i would advise u to do is stop using the pills for 2 months. use condom during these period...if the guy dont want to wear it, then show him the door out....let ur period cycle come back in normal sync and u see if u have a fixed period date or u period is all over...if it is kinda fixed, then you can use the calendar to monitor ur period and know when to play wild and when not to....
if it is not, then i would suggest BCP and u can be wild all u want...except for those days when ur aunty flo visits.

hmm. i mean how long do we need to wait for the next menstruation after taking the postinor?
consulted by pharmacists, they say for example i have taken postinor on 1st of july. the menstruation will be within 7 days. means around 7th of july will be the day of menstruation, if so, means you are safe from unwanted pregnancy. is this true? anyone here experiencing their menstruation didnt come after 3 weeks of ingestion of postinor?

again this totally depending on the individual and other surrounding factors. Stress can be a factor for the period to be late and also other medication will cause the delay as well. So if they say within 7 days, it would definitely be under a controlled environment.

i am just worried as i have used postinor for so many times (more than 5 times) in the past. evytime my menstruation will come exactly 7 days after. but this time i have been waiting for nearly 2 weeks. still no bleeding.

Well if by the 3rd week there is nothing, then do a pregnancy test to check...then u can plan what to do next.

I was in your shoes once. Over the past few years, I've taken postinor2 many times, easily more than 5 times. If you had went thru some of my previous posts here, you'll see that I personally experience various reactions to this ECP.

I've had my menses come within a week as you had, I've also had no reaction to the pills before but it still didn't fail me. I've had spottings before as well. But the most scary experience was when I had menses but my menses came for 2 weeks straight non stop medium flow or so. This made me go to many pharmacists and also my gynae to ask them is this normal. And from the info I've gathered, it's normal as every individual will react differently to the pills everytime we take it. It does mess up our menstrual cycle but the chances of it failing is quite minimal.

A friend of mine had a scare not too long ago, and I was there not being able to help except with Google. So here's to anyone who might find the info useful:

Honestly never heard of all of this except Escapelle (12.90) and Postinor (3.90). Can be found in Guardian or Watson's, but from what I heard, depending on where you stay, might be hard to get. Example Subang anywhere can find, but Shah Alam maybe harder. Hypothesis haven't test, but just a hunch.

Just to clarify, I live in Shah Alam and never had any issues getting ECP (mainly Postinor2) at all in Shah Alam or Klang. All the pharmacies have ready stock almost anytime - Guardian, Watsons, Target, Aeon Pharmacies and also small family owned pharmacies.
