If your period came after sex, then it's almost 99.999% that you are not pregnant. How do you expect an embryo to go attach itself on the endometrium wall when period is breaking it down.

well if u had sex before your period, then you a pretty much safe. 99.999% you are not pregnant.

well the next advise is depending on your period cycle. It is hard to explain for any lady. Unless you have a fixed period cycle, then you are safe about 4 - 6 days before your period. The best thing to do is monitor your period for 2 months. See how the cycle goes. You can try to use the available apps that they have to monitor period cycle. After which you will be able to determine if you have fixed cycle or not.

If your period is at an inconsistent cycle, then it will be best to advise that you take precaution prior to sex or u start taking birth control pills.
If it is a fixed cycle, try using the calendar to monitor your period and then you can balance it out from there. Buffer urself a day or 2 as at times other factors can contribute to your period cycle change such as stress, pressure and etc.

Again, this is more to educating yourself on your own body.

hey guys, quick question.
i had sex with my gf last week (didnt ejaculate in her) and few hours after that she took the postinor 2.. and her 2nd tablet she take around 5 hours later instead of waiting 12hours.. is it wont be effective??

and is it if she is ovulating and take postinor it wont be effective at all???

me n her is being paraniod right now..

1. Didn't ejaculate in her - % of pregnancy near zero
2. Took postinor2 - Some say take 2 tablet at once is better, some follow instructions on box, some take 1 tablet only, so far most of them didn't say that it failed them, check back this thread for more info. - Hence, % of pregnancy very minimal
3. Ovulating means doesn't work? - Complete bullshit, where did you hear about this at all? If it doesn't work, the pills will be completely useless no? Women get pregnant only when there is ovulation, so what's the point if the ECP doesn't work during ovulation.

Just chill, if she stress more, her menstrual cycle will delay lagi more, then you stress more, she also paranoid more, ended up it's just you yourself scaring yourself. Is it really worth it? Wear a condom, get birth control pills. Or else learn about menstrual cycle, sperm, ovulation, ECP and get her to notice changes in her body so she can detect when she's ovulating sometimes.

If you still prefer to be all paranoid over it, get a pregnancy test kit about 2.5 weeks from now (assuming you guys had sex when she was fertile). If it turns out negative, then stop being paranoid.

ahaha! allright, well about the "during ovulation postinor wont work" things is what i read from other blogs. i googled too much when im paranoid.

yeap will use the rubber often from now on..or back to abstinence. LOL

Well there are soo many information on the web that you can get yourself over paranoid with it. Just read and analyze the information that is given on the web. then you will be able to understand better.

well all u have to do now is just make sure ur gf dont get too stressed cause stress can delay the period.
Let nature take it way....it depends on ur gf...if she just finished her period, then it will take a long time as there is no blood on the wall.

well the problem is she cant remember her last period at all. And paranoid abt it...
And shes stressing out alot.. kept telling her abt it, but dont seems like its helping at all..

LOL...then tell her to dont worry. you have consulted some people and things are fine.
Dont have to stress too much and if needed take pineapple juice and papaya juice...

well postinor is basically an ECP. It is to prevent you from getting pregnant.
I believe your question is best referred to the pharmacist or the doctor.
From what I know, it is safe for them to consume it.

Your gf should at least have the responsibility to know her menstrual cycle and changes in her body. Otherwise, I'd advise you stay away from sex.
