There's a lot of effective contraceptive methods a woman can use (if used correctly) e.g. oral contraceptive pills, injectables, intra-uterine devices, etc.....

You can also see your doctor or go to the family planning clinic to get more information or advice....

either oral contraceptive pills or condom. if you dont want to mess your woman body system, then dedicate yourself to use condom, else bring your woman to a doctor or family planning centre to see what type of contraceptive pill will suit her most.

as long as your woman is not ill, did not miss a dose, taking it at the same time everyday as instructed, had diarrhea or vomiting, take any antibiotic, then it is quite an effective contraception.

I'd prefer the use of condom. Coz, all those pills and other contraceptive method could only harm the girl's body and health. And this could actually affects them mentally too. nod.gif

Condom is quite ok if you used it perfectly, with a failure rate of about 2 in 100. However, with typical use, the failure rate increases to about 15 in 100.....

It's not that high and the good thing is it doesn't have any major side effect to the girl. Sometimes the guys have to take a bigger stand in preventing pregnancy too rather than always relying on the girls and have them suffer all the side effects. nod.gif

the answers are

NO and

NO.

well not all ppl will get the s/e of ecp though, and only abt 5% will get nausea and vomiting whom actually vomit and therefore the ecp has no effect.

after taking ecp, you will still have to practice safe sex.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of guys who don't want to use condom.
How does it affects girls mentally? They will be worrying for the whole month?

If your partner doesn't want to use & u're in doubt, say NO lar. Don't be threatened by him saying that you don't love him if doesn't use condom

morning after is emergency hormonal contraception. it is used when unprotected sex (failed contraceptions e.g. burst condoms, missed dose of oral contraceptives pill, raped, etc) happened in the past 72 hours. as the name itself suggest, it is used in case of EMERGENCY.

whereas bcp or oral contraceptive pills are medication that is taken regularly/daily (often 21 days per month) to prevent pregnancy. bcp is used for family planning, protect from unprotected sex.

ecp is never meant to be used as regular contraceptive measure.

basically, if condom or bcp is used appropriately, it can prevent pregnancy up to 99%. so if you are a responsible man, use condom for contraception, else if you are reluctant to, at least ask your partner to take oral contraceptives, and of course that has to be prescribed from the doctor for the first time.

there is plenty of reasons why period could come late. stress are the most common, but also could due to the EHC pill.

the best way to keep your worry away / answered. go and get her pregnancy test kit. if it is negative, then you dont have to worry anymore and just wait then, period can come two weeks late. if it is positive, then it is time to plan then.

As far as I know, her period should come in about a week or so after eating the pills. But if you're worried, get a pregnancy test.

dont use the postinor2 often, i heard its not so good in the long run

depends. pre-ejaculatory body fluid may have sperm and conception can still occur. however, this happen at a very low rate.
