There is no actual maximum times you can take ECP. Some would say that the limit would be a maximum of 1-2 times each cycle. However, after prescribing the first course of ECP, a doctor would usually advise the woman to subsequently practice an effective method of contraception, rather than relying on ECP all the time.

QUOTE(sOuLx @ Dec 19 2007, 02:49 AM) i think there'll be several effects..but if taken regularly then it's not good for health. If it's hazardous then might as well stop takin' it regularly. Maybe use it only if unplanned sex happened or engaging in unprotected sex. maybe someone can elaborate more details.. |

According to an article that I came across, the side effect and the serious of the side effect is subjective to the body system of the consumer. It ranges from nausea and vomitting, dizziness to serious headache and irregular bledding. It will appear that this pill is like a fail-safe option to a failed prevention!

Hey, some guy on another thread around here took postinor (yes, a male taking postinor) and claimed that he's growing breasts and losing body hair.
Most of us think it's BS but he posted some disgusting pictures of his man-breasts. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/605340/+140 Do birth control pills increase the size of women's boobs? |

That's not a very helpful statement, is it? There are no contraceptive method that will give you 100% guarantee. Even sterilisation of the female don't give 100% guarantee. So, if a woman can't depend on the pill, other methods or sterilisation, what can they depend on? This post has been edited by kmarc: Jan 24 2008, 06:42 PM |

It is confirm to prevent pregnancy for life, and does it still count as contraception. |

Yeah. surgery is like that. Once done can't be undone. I've had a teacher back in school who done it. |

If you're asking about surgical methods to prevent pregnancy, then it is called sterilisation. Male - vasectomy. Female - bilateral tubal ligation (BTL).Even these methods are not 100% safe. The best would be vasectomy, with a failure rate of roughly 1 in 2000 procedures. For the BTL, it is about 1 in 200 procedures.... Both are intended to be permanent. However, for women, the BTL can be reversed if the expertise is available. Not that easy as to say "I want to reverse my BTL" as they have to go through a rigorous selection and assessment process. |

QUOTE(youngkies @ Jan 26 2008, 02:11 AM) lots, allergy to the IUD, or develop infection after insertion. Yeah. When they've reached the number of children that they've planned earlier. It also part of the family planning and to efficiently use the family income some decided to stop having more child and concentrate on the ones they have.it is quite common actually. a lot of people have it done just after delivery of baby if they have decided that they dont want any more children. |
