Tiles can not be polished.
Get them to change for you, but make sure they get back the same tonality batch for you.

i have been looking for quotation (with much thanks to forumers here for their contact) for a 1,350 sqft apartment.

The price range is from RM5,000 to RM16,000. Pening kepala.

Seems like some of the key issues;

1. hacking, cementing, laying of tiles
2. skirting
3. bringing tiles up to the apartment (via lift) - [estimated 2 man, 1 day]
4. installing new WC, bath tub, basin
5. water proofing of toilet
6. rubbish disposal

can anyone else please assist to highlight key issues. thank YOU !

price quoted should be around there, tiling prices varies quit a bit, cheap = poor worksmanship, usually indonesian workers, expensive = better/good worksmanship, chinese workers. poor worksmanship means uneven tiles layout, and will come off or break in 3-5 years. if u expecting to pay RM5k and do everything perfect for all the things u listed, i will advice u not to put your hope high. but in the end it depends on the budget, if u can afford i will suggest you to go for better ones.

faujc99 nVvan - thanks for your feedback. Definitely don't want to touch piping. Cost can only go up ! I'm only trying to figure out how to know which isthe better one !

Went to Niro Granite. They have a Outlet for their Tiles in Shah Alam. Very decent for the quality. I used to hang out at Super Ceramic but definitely have to check out more places now. Some really beautiful tile there at good price but very limited stock.

Continueing my search for the tiler....

Maybe you can consider monetary compensation.

Thanks guys, it's new development... Lesson learned, do not take full furnished unless it's reputable developer. And I don't think monetary compensation is that easy. Nvm just stay first.
