Choosing between BB torch 9800 or SE Vivaz pro/ SE X10 mini pro/ Any SE phone with qwerty keypad.
Any comments/ opinions?

x10 mini pro? outdate os, screen pretty small...
did u tried the phone b4?

vivaz pro? no future udpate, hence any new buggy growing on your phone, will be with you forever, got warranty oso cant help

other than bb/se, u dun prefer any other brands??
btw bb torch is pretty good for ur needs

Thinking to upgrade my old phone, first time using touchscreen phone though, must admit i like iphone4 alot.... what other phone is good? heard alot about android phones too...

This one is still ok. Some of them tend to ask to change after paying the money which makes me .

And of course. Cannot change la.

Symbian OS (used by the SE Vivaz) is not very good for websurfing experience. SE X10 mini pro is way below your budget which is good for you, but make sure that you really ok with its size.

Hmm is there any other SE phone with qwerty keypad?
I'm afraid of the sliding issues / hanging with BB torch.

For me, SE Xperia Arc seems real nice.

Nokia E7 is within your budget as well with 8MP camera. The last time when i test it out, the QWERTY keyboard is better than my N97 Mini.

I plan to get a phone for my mum. Need some recommendations based on the below:

Brand: Nokia, SE
Budget: RM500
Specs: WiFi, camera, clear loud speaker, big screen and font, easy-to-press keypad

May I know what is the price for iPhone currently? Not necessary is Iphone4. Plan to get one for myself. -,-

depend on u some iphone4 their sell with contract...if without contract iphone 4 32gb-->RM2600-2700

If wifi is not a need, NOkia C5-00 is a nice choice as it has quite a big keypad, good loud speaker and screen like N95 ones.

It is also quite slim and light.

but speaker kinda soft though...
but i advise go try 1st, cuz se not really familiar to mostly elders
if she dont feel good with it then can get x3-02
keypad is big enough, wifi, camera, speaker quite ok..nokia UI is always easy for elders

another choice is c5-00, it has 3g, gps, videocall camera which x3-02 dun hav, the gps is free to use though [nokia ovi maps]

depends which more important to her..
