LG Optimus 3D vs Samsung Galaxy S II... same CPU, same OS(once optimus 3D upgrade to gingerbread) = same apps handling capability i guess?

display.. i'd say samsung has the lead since it uses the gorilla glass, and the Super Amoled Plus. even better, it has multi touch where LG failed to provide.

storage.. samsung still ahead with the crazy large internal storage..

camera.. the center of the issue.. let's see.. samsung has more pixel to offer 8MP compared to LG's 5MP(3D) as for video recording, samsung claims that its phone can record 1080p at 30FPS! compared to LG with 1080p at 24fps. not much difference there though. but LG triumphs if u prefer the 3D function.

samsung uses  Li-Ion 1650 mAh where LG uses Li-Ion 1500 mAh. im not sure how much it would be differrent. but since samsung is using the Super Amoled Plus, it should consume less power. i'd say samsung beats LG in this.

all this is just by basic comparison.. im still looking for the perfect phone after all

in camera dun just compare base on paper, once it comes out...head to head compare, thats better

full HD ? i saw GSMA review on O2X, the full hd is delaying frame, makes that the HD [720p] is more preferable than full HD [1080p]

quite good idea...
cuz if u take b&w phone for call, its battery last very long...

while u can use tab for surfing, apps playing

samsung DID say the device can record at 30fps for 1080p. which is saying something.

malaysia so far only got atrix & 2x AP available

atrix quite nice wad, qHD resolution, gorilla glass...maybe can head to head against SGS2
also it obviously superior to O2X

others.. i can only say galaxy s2  has better front camera(for u video callers) and updated bluetooth.

dunno about the camera though.. as u said, pixels doesnt measure quality after all. just sharpness to me.
different case if u want to make wallpapers using ur camera phone though..
plus.. im not familiar with samsung's reputation for phone cameras...

se elm got 5mp autofocus+led, wifi, 3g, gps...
but speaker kinda soft though...
but i advise go try 1st, cuz se not really familiar to mostly elders
if she dont feel good with it then can get x3-02
keypad is big enough, wifi, camera, speaker quite ok..nokia UI is always easy for elders

another choice is c5-00, it has 3g, gps, videocall camera which x3-02 dun hav, the gps is free to use though [nokia ovi maps]

depends which more important to her..

When close range photo taking, it would affect the ability to zoom in for more detailed stuff like words. 

My advice is that latest gadget might be prone to suffer problems. If you do not want to suffer that kind of problem, you can consider wait for about 3 months after its release and see how it goes.
