2. Budget:RM300
3. Specs: Must have 3G/HSDPA
4. Type/Size: Anything.
5. Purpose: First :Call, used as a internet modem.

I only accept first hand and I cannot raise budget anymore.
Any further suggestions?

I have Nokia 5530 in mind, but i am not sure that it is still available. Phone distributor does not sell phones that is too obsolete and not profitable for them.

Seriously, consider about hiking the budget in any means except for robbing or illegal means. Nokia 5800 is one of the good phone you can get for your requirement.

helo, i am new in this section, i need some recommendation in buying phone that around 1k budget. i using my phone for music and sms alot.

currently i wearing nokia express music 5800, the battery only can last 12 hour.

I'm not sure about SE cedar whether it can be used as internet modem or not. but AFAIK, most SE's with 3G can do that.

suggest u to avoid touchscreen smartphone for longer battery life.. try nokia e71. but I find that the keypad may be a bit small. dunno about the predecessor, e72..

No Carl Zeiss for the mid range Nokia smartphones is normal.

However, Nokia C5-03 does not even have auto focus and flash light for its camera.

waa.. u text a lot and comfortable with touchscreen? (maybe I'm d only one that is very bad in texting using touchscreen ) very good one le.. hm.. tried d swype function as on most android phones? i think, u might want to consider galaxy ACE? swype will give u better texting experience (and faster) it is quite impressive phones for below 1k price. the audio also quite good to be used as music player.

the only concern to me, might be I don't really know how the battery might perform.. but the quoted battery life from specs sheet might serve u well

We recommend phones for free over here. i guess as long as we did not continuously provide wrong information or recommendation, people won't be mad of us if we only posted wrong once or twice.

N97 has 1500mAH battery, but its battery life is not very good either.

Why not you just surf around and ask other people about the battery life from the actual users? Some of us here advising just because we are familiar rather than expert. Sometime, recommedation here won't be 100% perfect as well.

So, it is wise to verify the information provided here as well. Me included. If i do have provided the wrong information, feel free to PM me.
