Totally different things ..
They know it as they experience it .

When they drink cold water, they have not enough 'power' to blow their instrument as before

So tell me, how is, lets say, football and blowing a trumpet related? You don't run around the field trying to blow the ball into the goal.

Hi,
You can learn yoga breathing called Pranayama.
Myself is a elite marathon runner, do practice this kind of breathing technique to help increase stamina.

They called it as stamina too ..

So I just followed them .

And, Hari Sukan in my school has passed for few days already ..

After Hari Sukan, they said

Finally, I can drink cold water !

I don't know ...

Exactly, you don't know. Did it not ever dawn on you that you should actually question what they're saying to find out what truth there is to it?

first thing i thought was; what mineral gets inbalanced from having adequate water in your body?  hmm.gif
*
Sodium, potassium, magnesium, a bit of calcium <-- all 4 of the main electrolytes will get slightly imbalanced... IF one takes a VERY LARGE QUANTITY of water immediately (2 litres or more) after sweating too much (e.g. 2-3 hours of tennis match).

so the fact that you got weaker (from your earlier post) suggests that you got weaker because you drank cold water or because you didnt train?

BS detected.
If a person is bed ridden for a month, muscle wasting occurs and he would lose ALL of his strength... in fact, most need to learn how to walk again through physiotherapy.

Because...
bed ridden = doesn't train at all, not even walking.
So, the muscles get weaker and weaker and eventually lose all strength.
Conclusion = no stimulation (training) = muscle lose strength & mass.

Band members don't drink cold water because it irritates their throat when they are playing their instruments (especially brass instruments). And for some people (those who are cool base 寒底), drinking chilled water can cause 'masuk angin' (e.g. me). Nothing to do with stamina or what not.

BTW, band members are not athletes.
