how is your venture to cornering? found the right ARB for your car?

for some idea u can search my old post suspension setup, setting up a firmer/ stiffer chassis there is a weak point as every 1 forget.

VZS, light i suggest u go for Philips, horn u can look for Denso they got air horn type cheap some more...

as for the bar just install tower, front lower 4 point and rear ARB is enough install more = more weight added and chassis welding point weaker day by day.

i'm getting bored with my vios... arh!!!!!!!!!!!!

How much did you all pay for the third to fifth Vios service? About
RM200-RM300 ar? I want to service this afternoon, hope its not going to suck
lot of my money... And I also hate if being cheated at any service centre...
How ar? Huhu!!! MAX Check is quite expensive compared than BASIC Check

So, do we really have to do a MAX Check everytime we want to service our car?
Because I noticed even some people just change their oil engine and oil filter
only for the whole year (frequently), then they only did a MAX Check for the next
year but car - PERGH!!! Still smooth and fluid during the driving... Damn it!!
Because for MAX Check, sometimes its going to cost you almost RM400.00
rite? Plus we dont have to change our brake fluid or auto-transmission/gear
fluid (auto car lerr, not manual) everytime we do a service.

Ooo ini mesti tukar juga sudah rosak"

when the vios new faceift go out?2012?

same engine????? already so big gap with german TSi technology... if vios retain the same engine for the next all new launch, that will be a totally let down.... then toyota will be same like our proton saga... the current engine alraedy about 10yrs old tech... if carry forward again, dunno what to say liao....

Mine is 1st batch Dugong no remote trunk. So far no problem pulling from driver side or using a key.
Btw, so far I have identified 3 bearings malfunction and noisy. It is 4yrs already and I've just replace one (rear right) costing me rm500 (with labour). I'm thinking the both front would be around 1k if unlucky. WTF my old Toyota 15yrs+ and another one 20yrs also no such problem.

If that the case is the Vios that high maintenance (no longer a Toyota trait)? Cars like MyVi even if every 4yrs bearing change, each around rm150 - Vios bearing cost 3 times more than MyVi.

I'm thinking of downgrading...

guys, i just got my vios for about a month...at about 800km++
i noticed that whenever i go downhill, when i let go of the accelerator and not stepping on my brakes... i will notice that my gear downshifts... is it normal?

hmmm ok, 1 more thing. when i start my engine in the morning i get high RPM, around 1.5k or 1.8k...then when the engine warmed up i park aside and get about 900... that normal?

i also read the manual about the ODOMETER switch, tried to check the L/KM but cant get it to work, can only cycle between ODO, TRIP(A), TRIP(B) and Lights...... hmmmm weird...

how much do u guys usually get for a full tank? i get about 450km 50% highway 50% city driving style... maybe the engine hasnt completely been knocked in yet...

forgot to add... is it true that u should turn the ignition key to ON for a few secs before cranking the engine? i heard this from a friend who said that the SA told him that... but nothing like that was mentioned in the manual...

Saw a Vios at the petrol station just now. He modded his car till damn ah beng look... kinda like wira Evo wanabe... but in a vios

My car alarm problem is getting worse. In this afternoon, my car alarm triggers 4 times in 30 minutes. It's quite embarrassing. In the end, I left my car unlocked so that the alarm won't trigger anymore.

My car is parked in wifi zone. However, this problem happens in the morning and afternoon (especially day is getting hot). The alarm triggers when surrounding temperature is high. The alarm never trigger at night.

Will SC charges me? I'm still a student and have limited budget.

FYI, my car is 2007 G Spec.

All Sifu I am having Vios Model 06-07 1.5E .There are 2 problems now.

1.  safety belt on the driver side is not pulling back in where it should be.
2.  When press the remote control "lock" .Alarm bits 10 times which suppose to be only 2 bits .

Is this 2 problem can easily fix? How ? Where ? My location is around Selangor Cyberjaya.

* going to Toyota is always expensive ,so would like to look for another best option..
