Yo brothers and sisters...

Have a major problem ere...recently i have this kinda strange problem...Sometimes when i try to start my car..it has cranking sound but just after start it dies off..sometimes able to start,but it have a rough sound at the end of it like "duk" after starting it..went to check by using their computer but unfortunately,no trouble code is found...Thats where the tricky part is cos no trouble code detected and they dono where to change...

One of the outside mechanics told me that it might be the crank sensor most likely to fail but yet to fail...and another told me that the crank shaft uniformity is slightly out....

Any oppinion??anyone care to share???

More like crank sensor problem to me. Send to those bigger SC like CoSE to check. Don't have error doesn't mean ur sensor is OK.

check lioa oh..but don have...dats y they dono where to start and change...but problem still exist...wats the sypmtom of crank sensor failure/?

ur Car is PE , total mileage? Maybe ECU problem?

wah..17inch oso can done 11sec..u r rite,wira is light,cant compare..i juz happy tat power of persona auto wit 17inch rim can same wit wira 1.6 manual with 14inch rim lo..campro reali is high rev engine..

Yup..PE manual...1st batch...Ecu had already change to newer version since got problems on the 1st batch...ecu doesnt synchronize...Mileage around 10k..

so wat is ur feeling after change newer ecu?

Before change u feel better kick in accelaration..but 2nd gear alwis jerk and sometimes dies off..feel not smooth and no power especially in the reign from 1.1k to 2.5k...but whopping power above dat...accelarate faster..

After change...all RPM smooth..wont feel the kick anymore..car felt more sluggish..but low rpm no more jerking and no more whopping surprise power after 2.5k...

so u feel the car power still remain,only the power distribute more smooth,rite?

drag can get 11.3sec-12sec for old persona non-iafm... all stock..and tires too...

Added on February 22, 2011, 12:06 ambtw..anyone have change their absorber? mine leaking at the front...close to 80k with hard and normal drive... has someone change to gas absorber? wonder any difference comparing to oil shocks...?

and yea.just tested the elegance....alot improvement i would say comparing my 2007 unit...door handle more solid, engine also quieter/smoother, more power , soundproofing also much much better, signal stalk feels more classy/solid when push, seating position still same but better headrest support,..other than that great..
