Both u after updating the new version of ECU seems less responsive??Is this applies for other member as well??updating should troubleshoot most of the problem yet giving more power thus more fuel economical..both driving auto??

Added on February 19, 2011, 10:23 pmWell,itd because of the Drive By Wire delay...me also having trouble of balancing below 1.5k-2k...so sometimes my car tyre spin cos over rev.. ..but once u get used to it shouldnt be any big problem la...but until now i still have trouble of balancing the RPM in low reign(1.5k - 2.5k) especially in 1st gear..

Some members ere quoted that by installing the VS+GC it will eliminate the DBW thingy..Diff how much i dono la...yet to install this..

Yo brothers and sisters...

Have a major problem ere...recently i have this kinda strange problem...Sometimes when i try to start my car..it has cranking sound but just after start it dies off..sometimes able to start,but it have a rough sound at the end of it like "duk" after starting it..went to check by using their computer but unfortunately,no trouble code is found...Thats where the tricky part is cos no trouble code detected and they dono where to change...

One of the outside mechanics told me that it might be the crank sensor most likely to fail but yet to fail...and another told me that the crank shaft uniformity is slightly out....

Any oppinion??anyone care to share???

Yup..PE manual...1st batch...Ecu had already change to newer version since got problems on the 1st batch...ecu doesnt synchronize...Mileage around 10k..

Before change u feel better kick in accelaration..but 2nd gear alwis jerk and sometimes dies off..feel not smooth and no power especially in the reign from 1.1k to 2.5k...but whopping power above dat...accelarate faster..

After change...all RPM smooth..wont feel the kick anymore..car felt more sluggish..but low rpm no more jerking and no more whopping surprise power after 2.5k...

Not exactly..lesser power in terms of accelaration...

ok la...more drivable,less engine dies off but sacrifice accelaration lor...

cos nowdays imititation labels looks so real and differs not alot from original..unless u really expert in identifying it la...

should be la jacky cos by using less force to move a car can save more petrol...but normally ppl after changing extractor will claim consume more fuel due to more heavy foot to test power ma...but by using the same accelaration power..it should use less fuel...

nola...i was referring to u la...on the extractor...

can use D all the way..if detected low speed it will auto change to lower gear wan..if u wanna drag it then 2,3 if am not mistaken...

This should be the fog lamp socket...somehow rather Proton are so good for us to plug and play on the fog lamp without wiring..mine had a pair too but tested with the older version(non PE) of fog lamp but doesnt work..donno y..maybe have to add on something..

couldnt be..cos when they install the fog lamp socket is plug and play and they even turn on the headlights one notch(small lights)..but to no avail...sigh..maybe need to add something in...maybe u go try and let us know..

Well,do u encounter cranking but just after start it dies off or when u start the engine,u hear cranking and by the end of it,well it starts but with a "duuk" loud sound(sort of like metal hitting metal sound)??

After u replaced ur crank sensor,do u encounter the problems back??(cranking but dies off immediately after that or hard to start)

Kindly pls enlighten..

lols..lucky mine is located at the 2nd pipe(powerzone)...up there...if not sure alot of problem la...

Added on February 25, 2011, 2:54 amyours is PE rite??mine already reflash the ECU..but unfortunately problem still exist.....actually i change the ECU due mine is the first batch of PE which causes alot of engine dies off/jerking problem...was hoping there is a common problem for this so i can replace straight away...

did u change the whole ECU or just send to the SC and upload the new program??

Well,at 1st i upload the new program but still got jeking+less dies off but engine easier to start...after replacing with the new ECU,no more jerking and engine dies off but sometimes hard to start...

anyways,after u reflash the ECU,does ur car feel more sluggish??

Mine felt more sluggish after replacing..before the accelaration was GREAT.. a lot of diff..
