Made in Germany. It's made by the same company that makes Continental tyres. This is their electronic division's product.

Continental. Siemens is used only in gen2

Added on March 12, 2011, 1:33 pmI think if ur persona is iafm, then it uses 16 bit continental ecu. If it's PE iafm then 32 bit conti. Non iafm should be siemens. Not so sure, I think can check with proton guys.

I just checked with my fren who drive PE,
his ECU is under Continental.

so i believe,
Gen2/Persona Standard Campro/Persona IAFM - Siemen ECU
while Persona PE - Continental ECU.

apologize for miss-info previously.

No. Gen 2 n persona standard, siemens. Iafm onwards is continental, difference is the iafm model before PE is 16 bit.
Didn't install the ecu. Tom's guy advices that I should make full exhaust setup first, then go for HKS F-Con for better tunability n better output.

Continental offered better price for their 16 bit than siemens. Don't u know that proton will do anything just to earn our money?

The ECU is located under the dashboard of the driver's side. It's right underneath the small storage compartment to the bottom right of ur steering. Behind the bonnet-release latch.

Added on March 12, 2011, 8:02 pmOh btw guys, the 12 inch woofer is up for sale again. ZengTMM cancelled booking. Everything on listed below is on sale.
