hi rayanne,

i'm in the midst of changing skincare product and i like to give dermalogica a try. maybe you could recommend me some daily skincare product, ranging from toner to moisturizer which might be suitable for my skin

combination skin: oily on the T-zone. prefer protection against UV, nothing too oily/greasy.

if you have a trial pack would be good. i get to try the product beforehand, and i'll get the full pack from you if it's suitable.

oh, something for the black/white head would be good too!

let me know.

thanks! wink.gif

hi purplecrystal00
you can either try the dermalogica normal/oily (combination more on oily) skin kit or normal/dry (combination more to dry)skin kit. each retail RM188 www.dermalogica.com

but for skin kit set (trial pack) doesnt come with sunblock, you may try oil free matte spf25 or solar defense booster 50ml which i personally in favor.
in order to get rid of black/whiteheads, there is not target product here, but what they recommend is constantly scrub and hydrating mask to soften the skin; protect skin and use the correct cleanser to remove excessive oil that caused blackwhitehead ya

erm, what does the skin kit set (trial pack) consist of?

as for the oil fre matte spf25/solar defense booster, do you apply before/after moisturizing?

oh yea, i like recommendation for minimizing pores.

thanks! wink.gif

am not sure dermalogica/cellnique is equally good, i've personally tried cellnique pro sebum gel, something for the blackheads, n it works amazingly.

i'm still deciding, either dermalogica/cellnique.

any personal recommendation?

thanks a bunch!

specifically this is the url http://dermalogica.com/us/products.html#/p...kit-normal-oily and http://dermalogica.com/us/products.html#/p...-kit-normal-dry

sunblock is apply after moisturiser. i have no idea on target product for pore diminishing in dermalogica ..
for cellnique ,pro series is not something that we have, but paramedic series from salon available.
anyhow to me ,no perfect skin care for everyone. only trial can give you answer..

hi shinki
actually there is no perfect skin care for all because skin care is subject to individual skin contidion react to ones ingredients.
product A can be perfect for your friend but it may not perfect on you ,same for cellnique. Only trial can give you an answer .
in basic skin care,we have 3 steps (cleanse, tone,moisture); for better home care regimen, i recommend exfoliate (Important: scrub away dead skin cells to allow new skin cell regrow and smoothen skin texture);
hydration, antiaging, and sun block,no doubt.

take for example, cellnique cleanser is 200ml at 99-109 retail selling; dermalogica cleanser is 250ml 149; 500ml at 219. it is almost the same ..
cellnique moisturiser 50ml 129-189 ;dermalogica 50ml at 159 -175;100ml at >229.

Hi Rayanne,

Hope you're doing fine.

Need your advice cause lately my skin has been getting quite congested around the chin to the jaw line. Little bumps coming out and when squeeze there is this white thingy coming out. cry.gif

If after cleansing face, in 2 hours time can feel my skin getting oily but if I were to do the normal routine of toner & moisturizing, it's not that bad.

Would you be able to provide some advice? Previously I'm a combination to dry (with mild acne & sensitive). Do you think now my skin condition is more to oily now? icon_question.gif

Sorry, haven't been checking this thread frequently. Think will need to opt for the track topic option for this.

Yeah.... I've changed my moisturizer (ultra facial cream) & toner (cucumber toner) to Kiehl's.

A friend has recommended me to get the dermalogica hydrating booster and the overnight clearing gel to help with the problem. Got it from a salon cause desperate at that time. So far seemed to be working. icon_rolleyes.gif
